Is Oregon Airsoft Arena affiliated with Oregon Airsoft Assoc

Postby Rogue Reaper » Mon Jun 21, 2010 8:38 am

Are the fellows out in Hillsboro affiliated with Erik, Matt and Arron?

Oregon Airsoft Association has been astablished since 2005 when they helped us with CQB 1 and CQB 2.

Just want to clear this up?

Some how I think Erik would have said something when we were chatting on Saturday at the mall.

If not I think its kinda Bush League to use an established airsoft arenas name.

No they aren't.

If anything it's not a very creative name, but considering Oregon Airsoft Association hasn't been around for a long time, it seems like fair game.

It's funny, I still own www.oregonairsoft.com but it doesn't point anywhere at the moment.

Had a feeling that was the case.

Wonder if the new place will offer "Pain" as a game option.

For all of you that don't know OAA had an arena next to The Place To Shoot In Hayden Medows with framed and drywalled movable rooms. The Game "pain' was basically a few people stepped on the field and the last man alive won. The Caveat was this, you werent out if you were shot, you called yourself out when you could no longer handle the pain of the multiple times you had been shot. Think close range squirt gun battles with 450FPS AEGs. you would be shot dozens in not hundreds of times. It was ordinarilly played in jeans and a t-shirt.

Oh yeah, Old School.

I miss those days. And playing no-light one on one games while everyone watches the IR cameras in the other room. You could tell you were close to the other guy when you started hearing laughing from the audience.

There are lots of people who's FPS limits and idea of fun differ greatly from ours. Get over it.

A rapists idea of fun is to kidnap young women and have forced sex, that doesn't make it not retarded.

Just sayin'.
