A picture is worth a 1,000 words. This is what I did to prepare for yesterday's game (note there is airsoft prep there--see the MC boonie):

I've been playing this stupid game for 7 years.
My gear is always "ready to go", always in the same spot.
All I have to do is get there and eat a nutritious breakfast (or play through a hangover on an empty stomach).

Double check my gear pack and make sure gun is functioning correctly and everything is ready to go.
Charge all batteries.
do workout and run or ride the bike for a bit( SPANDEX IS NOT AN OPTION EVER!!!)
Listen to a shit ton of black metal like Absurd and Destroyer 666.
Get paranoid about what I might have forgotten.

I try to beat Variable in a drinking game, blackout for 6.5 hours, wake up drunk, in a bathroom, wearing a t-shirt that I didn't put on myself, and then go kick a$$ in a 6 mile hiking special forces mission... good times, good times.
