I'm not 30 just yet, few more months to go, but I'll take one with either slogan as well

You should edit your username so it doesn't break the forum tables.

I'd be in, either slogan plus Ms. Pacman will be 30 in August so she would probably be in the market for one

A few of you other old bastards have discussed several times a patch that symbolizes being old. The phrase I hear the most often is, "Old Guys Rule Everything." OGRE, for short. For some reason, I like this. I had a buddy whip up some artwork:

Then I talked with Butler Patches and they'll do it but with a text banner along the bottom portion with a slogan. I'm torn as to the slogan, either the "Old Guys Rule Everything" or "Old Age and Treachery."

What I would like to do is gauge interest. There's a significant price break if I order 50 instead of 30. Either way, they're less than $6 a piece. So, if you're interested--post in this thread how many you'd want and a slogan preference.

This is NOT a team patch or a team. Just a patch.

As the guy who actually coined the phrase, I vote for Old Guys Rule Everything (OGRE)! The patch looks awesome dude!! I'm in for 6ea.

Any suggestions for other sources?

Absolutely.

I'll let this sit for a couple of more days and see who else pipes up. We're pretty evenly split on the slogan, with valid reasons for both.

In addition to the OGRE patch, how about a "silver-back" tab for 40 and over crowd?
It would be a secondary patch laid alongside the OGRE patch.

A silver lightning bolt curved around the top of the OGRE patch perhaps.
Maybe a single, distorted vertical bar like a First Lieutenant bar, but distorted like an inverted, four cornered tear drop. (If that makes any sense.)
I'm drinking at the moment and I'm not going to try and drive Photoshop in this condition. Nothing good would come of it.

Anyhow.. I think a "Silver-back" tab would be a great compliment to the idea.
