is the one in the link from g&p?

It should be, but evike is so janky when it comes to saying who makes things its hard to tell.

Also, Nikan, the AFG isn't an endall for that grip style. Some people still would rather use a full size grip and hold the gun that way, or maybe a stubby grip. I had one and I found it forced me to hold the gun at an angle that isn't as comfortable as using a regular vert grip.

True, I actually agree because I can hardly imagine holding my gun that way.

I've always wanted to try a stubby grip on the left side of my replica. So I can hold it like those guys who use their left hand to pretend to hold a rifle.

Basically, imagine a small nub between my thumb and pointer-finger that I push forward and up on. (Only issue I see is the sling, which can be alleviated with a single-point.). It's quite comfortable for me to hold the replica like that--even without the grip.

Is that the bump deal similar to what Stoner (I think) was making for the bottom rail Joe?

That product looks like a non-obtrusive lightweight use as a side thumb-web index. (LaRue is bad a$$)

And..yah, that SF is slick too.

There are a few manufacturers making similar designs. Knights Armament (KAC) is the more popular one floating around. Gear Sector have a version as well, which integrates seamlessly with their rail covers and other accessories (Light mounts.)

While I'm sure they could be used in this same way to great affect, I think Larue designed theirs specifically for this application. It's much more "rounded".

And YES. That light is absolutely phenomenal. Also note how clean they ran the wire to the pressure switch. Professionalism at it's best.

One thing, though, is that the mount doesn't let the light get as far forward as it could. So on an SBR like that, it works GREAT. Having six inches of barrel past the light, however, will shadow pretty bad. :(
