Was it tied up in the castle? I saw a grenade in there but I think someone removed it because the line was in the way.

Well, that was fun! Riddick--nicely done. Admins--that's one of the first airsoft games I've played at where there was always an admin around when one was needed. Thank you!

Survivors, we could always count on you all for a good scrap in the village and always had to divert bodies that were needed elsewhere to keep you from flat out overrunning us (which you did do a couple of times). Stand up play!

Guard, what can I say? You all played an awesome game, keeping us in "our side" of the village and generally making life hell for a commander who's objectives seemed to be mostly on "your side" of the field.

Infected, guys, you rocked! I didn't have lead so much as just follow--you all were on it. For a team that started by saying, "we don't care if we win," we did great! The few times I asked for help or reassignment, I got it. Your movement and fire in the village to place explosives--awesome. Special props to PLA for being my "goto group" for either a base of fire or a mission. Also, for only being 3 PSC at the event--way to be in the thick of it every time I turned around. The rest of you--you're what really won the game--you listened, you took ground, and you held it. Let's do it again!

That was a kick in the pants. I have never shot so many people, been shot so many times or had to reload so fast. Hats off to everyone who put it together and all who played.

My highlights:
- Happy wading through the swamp just getting my legs wet, then falling in a$$ first up to my neck. Luckily I had packed a complete set of dry clothes for the ride home! Props to Mikala (sp?) for going back into the water and braving the stinging nettles with me.

- Being in a head to head shootout with one of the NGs wearing ACU in the city, we moved on each other three times while both blasting others at the same time. He finally got me but it was quite the duel.

- Held up in a forward position with one kid, where we were out on a limb but able to shoot into the castle...

Kid: All our other guys just got hit! Should we fall back?
Me: We're doing more for the team by tying up the enemy here. We need to hold out.
Kid: What should we do?
Me: Die expensively.

I just have to say that whenever theres a game at that place i will be there! ha! i loved the towns and forts and trench oohhhh the trenches! even though some how i was left alone and surrounded by infected but i got a few. My friend now loves this and is going to be getting his own gear. I can go on to stuff that happened, but it be a long list probably. Like one ill say is when we kept on getting sent up to attack the castle and beyond and i said "nope..." and took 3 guys and went up a sneaky a$$ way and started to destroy the infected line and hold on their fort. Even though we never truly stayed with our teams i believed the ones that were rage tag worked very well.

P.S. DID ANYONE FIND A RED CELL PHONE! IF NOT THEN I HAVE TO GO BACK AND SEARCH FOR IT...

I think Matt my ride has it. It was on his table. i will talk to him and PM you about it.

Rick, Best game i have ever attended. with the desire to not win (One person raising their hand, which was me) we kicked a$$! and i thank you for putting on a kickass game, thanks to Vidar, Pacman, Seagreen and the few other ADMINS that i don't know for putting on a great game!

All the opposing forces played great and fought hard!

Infected: shazaam yes, way to rush into the village from across the orchard, take ground, move up, watching the there sectors and taking the objectives that we didnt even think about bothering with!

Thanks to PLA for being a great team to be on, Limpy, Prophet, Turdroy, shaqoius, Kelharis, and the other PLA members for showing up and kicking a$$.

Thanks to Viper and Matt for joining up and slapping on the fancy blue to join us in battle.

Thanks to orge for leading us and directing where we needed to go for objectives.

PSC: it was great to finally play a game where we are on the same team, props for being badass's!

And thanks to the other players that showed up, Shot the the shit out of other people and held ground. Good spirit from everyone and sportmans ship!

IT WAS bleeding RAD AND WORTH THE 20$ THEN SOME!

That was me. I'm gonna remember that line "Die expensively" for a long time. That was a ton of fun. Especially because it took them coming up behind us to get us.

Players: I am glad so many of you enjoyed the game. I tried to give you fun and engaging action while having some kind of objective based format. I hope you enjoyed the food and the free giveaways while they lasted. Thank you for playing out there with allot of honor today. It seemed that we didn't have too many issues (thanks to you and my admin) and that made for a much better overall experiance.

Admin: Thank you so much for helping me out (seagreen, chesty_01, pacman, vidar, RBeran). I greatly appreciated it and hopefully the compensation fufilled your expectations. I couldn't have done it without you guys. I will certainly make sure we never fall short of having a reasonable amount of admin at any event I put on.

sniperzden: Thanks to them for the much needed refinements in certain areas of the field. It's their goal to complete some more building and trail making as the summer season progresses. It sounded like many of you enjoyed the new areas.

conclusion: Since players were asking for it as the event ended and since the infected survived, we can all assume a sequel will be available in the near future at another town (location). Stay tuned, I can say with what I have in mind and the things I learned from this event. It will be even better.

once again.. thank you all so much. Without your support these games could not be possible.

P.S. I have a butt pad, prob. to a Crane Stock. If anyone is missing that lat me know. And I have an L96 Magazine. Both these things were at the infected base when I left. Let me know if it is yours. Thankyou :D

That was like a high velocity game of "Whack-A-Mole", the way you kept popping up in that trench! I was two trenches over and putting single shots into any spot you seemed likely to come out of. You took out a few of us trying to lever you out.

I've been reading a lot of WW1 history lately, both memoirs and technical books on how the trenches were constructed and fought. That episode was a really good example of it!

no, i threw it at the far fort in the village by the road and the trenches. it hit the front wall, went off and when i got out i looked everywhere for it and i didnt find it.
