Something I want to say:

I saw people on all sides who were calling hits for other people. This was addressed during the lunchtime briefing, yet I saw it even more during the second half. I was accused no less than 6 times for not calling my hits. I have no reason to NOT call my hits. No one does. 99.9% of the time, if you think you are hitting them, and they aren't calling it, then you aren't really hitting them. You might be hitting 10 feet in front of them, or zinging them right past their ear, but you aren't hitting them. If you are hitting them (and it is blatantly obvious like the 5 people I shot center mass from less then 20 feet with my sidearm today), and they aren't calling their hits, you have 2 options: shoot them till they call it, or find an admin. Telling someone to "f***ing TAKE YOUR HIT!" goes against the code of honor that we all try to follow during the course of an airsoft game. If I am hit, I will call it. If I am not hit, I will not call it. Please learn to see better, aim better, or be sneakier. I never once had to question if someone I shot was hit. They new it ever single time. By engaging at closer then your maximum range and using your sights, your percentages of actually hitting your target increase dramatically.[/rant]

Also, I would like to push for a 16+ age limit on games from now on. The can be a provision for sponsored persons under 16, but most of the issues I saw today came from the under 16 crowd. But this is a conversation for another time.

Mehmeh, Jester I was watching that exchange and clearly those kids for just having a paddy. It always happens in airsoft and I find it best to shrugs it off. They did not hit you, the acted dishonourably but it did not affect the course or outcome of the game and everyone at all times was aware it was just poor sportsmanship. Also, thanks for your help. That was great, You beat me to that objective by a couple of minutes.

James, it didn't matter where I was on the field, I always heard someone yelling about someone not calling their hits. This was just my view of the whole day (it was bad enough that the admins brought it up during the lunch brief). I think that if we can't trust the person we are shooting at, then we can't effectively play this game of honor.

I'd like to thank everyone coming out making it a great day. I observed high levels of teamwork which helped make the day action packed! Big thanks to Riddick for making us admins feel like valued members of his team, made the day so much better. Big up's to Seagreen, Vidar and Chesty for making the whole day stay on track along with the fun factor.
My only regret is I didn't have my camera rolling when Jester made a mad dash and safety kill inside the trenches, it was an event of legendary proportions! I took some pictures while I wandered around and will try to figure out where I'm going to upload them and update.
Great job EVERYONE!

Great game!! Well attended, well planned, and well run.

NG, you guys were great! Echo Company did an excellent job...you guys followed orders and achieved objectives with a vengence!!

And to the other folks who hooked up with Echo in the first session...Thank you, you guys were awesome!! Good gameplay, and excellent opposition in the Infected and Survivors

Thanks to Rick, Bill, Pacman and Vidor...admining the second half was entertaining!

those it pacman? Also sorry about your tooth (I didn't shoot you by the way). Also, I would disagree with not allowing people under 16, 13+ is a good limit. If they start young, (like so) they learn the getting shot and not saying hit is stupid because they will shoot you again. My good friend mumky or whatevers, he shot this guy 2 times in the chest, the guy went you didn't hit me! After mumky said I hit you. The guy raised his gun up and stood out in the open while saying this so mumky shot him again. It was funny. I had a good time, one thing I think why it is hard to call shots sometimes. If someone is really far away and there running, they have a fair amount of gear on, they will get hit and not even notice it.

Harper here. I just have to say that whenever theres a game at that place i will be there! ha! i loved the towns and forts and trench oohhhh the trenches! even though some how i was left alone and surrounded by infected but i got a few. My friend now loves this and is going to be getting his own gear. I can go on to stuff that happened, but it be a long list probably. Like one ill say is when we kept on getting sent up to attack the castle and beyond and i said "nope..." and took 3 guys and went up a sneaky a$$ way and started to destroy the infected line and hold on their fort. Even though we never truly stayed with our teams i believed the ones that were rage tag worked very well.

P.S. DID ANYONE FIND A RED CELL PHONE! IF NOT THEN I HAVE TO GO BACK AND SEARCH FOR IT...
