question on acog

I'm eventually getting this sight. If you have a better option for the same or lower price with that style sight please tell me. Anyways, I was wondering, do I need a riser for this so the front sight won't interfere with the red dot?

Usually no, most of them are supposed to be the height of the M16 front sight, although with replicas they can be odd.

100 bucks is a lil bit too spendy, is a magnified acog alot better then a non magnified or does it not matter?
