Very nice!

Very nice! I do believe the gradient will turn out a little rickitty when you send the patch design in to be made.

P.S. I have been doing Photoshop for a few years and will gladly help out anyone in need of banners or patches :)

All of the ones you see unless labeled patches are banners or team logos for the net. Right now there is only one patch design up.

I don't think the stroke on the letters of "WART," the small text on the bottom, and the thin lines of the reticule are going to show up very clearly on an embroidered patch.

I'll link this thread to Raddue so he can chime in.

EDIT: I'm an idiot, I was looking at your signature thinking that's what you were talking about. Although, there are still some relatively small details on your patch design.

********* 1:16 pm
(1:16:10 PM): Depends on how big he wants the patches.
(1:16:26 PM): If he wants like coster-sized ones then it's fine. But his lettering should probably be bigger, yes.

DMitri221 1:17 pm
(1:17:03 PM): what about shit like the lower left soldier and details on the helos?

********* 1:17 pm
(1:17:25 PM): The blades are just going to be one line of stitches.
(1:17:32 PM): And yeah, the two soliders will look like blobs.
(1:17:38 PM): The two in the midle are probably fine.

DMitri221 1:17 pm
(1:17:39 PM): and the wheels and shit
(1:17:49 PM): blobs, too

********* 1:18 pm
(1:18:09 PM): That is just going to be a line of stiches intersecting another line of stitches. The wheels, I mean.
(1:18:19 PM): He's probably better doing this:
(1:18:40 PM): One or two larger helicopters in the back ground. Make the second dude bigger. Move the ground further up the patch and make the lettering bigger.
(1:19:00 PM): This is, of course, assuming that they want patches that are 2" across. If he wants bigger he has a lot mroe leeway.
(1:19:13 PM): I think the old APST patches were 2.5 inches. I don't remember, though.

DMitri221 1:19 pm
(1:19:28 PM): Big patches look kind of ridiculous, imo. But it's not my patch :-P

********* 1:19 pm
(1:19:40 PM): I agree with you.
(1:19:46 PM): But that's the basic question that needs to be asked.
(1:19:52 PM): "How big do you want it?" Bigger patches cost more, obviously.

Most of my patch designs are done for a 3" design unless ordered other wise.... We have found that the players in our area like the larger designs since it is not a patch that they would normally wear but more a keepsake type deal.

I'm aware of the limitations since I have had several designs made into patches already.... but those are up to the people who placed the orders to show you since they are their designs now.... ;-)

I did have one made that was similar to the one you saw and at 3" it came out quite nice. These are more for events not team patches which usually run smaller in size.

As far as the WART design that is a logo only not a patch design I already have a design for that and the proof back just waiting for final tweaks to be applied and to make sure I have all the Pantone colors correct.

Of course more team mates will determine when they get ordered.... :-)
