I feel like someone scammed me, how can I get my money back?

Discuss anything and everything here that's Airsoft related.

I make a habit of not paying personal, but that's not because I've been burned by it, it's because it's one of the potential indicators of a scam. Obviously if you know the person or have done business with them in the past, then it's your call. You have recourse with PayPal when it's for goods, when it's personal, PayPal has no legal reason to back you because you could be just giving someone money.

Just friendly advice not a hard and fast rule. The more and more we do business over the internet, the more chances there are for scams.

If you argree to lie to the finatual institution, In this case Paypal, To save the seller the 3.?% fee then you deserve to loose the fraud protection afforded you by the institution.

In a case like this where teh buyer agrees to help defraud then when the buyer is defrauded I have no problem with it.

Y'know...not that I advocate deception here, but since there has already been some taking place...if you really want to find out the status of your order, set up another email address and make an offer on the gun your friend tried to buy. See what he says.

Good for you to take some wisdom out of this....Unfortunately wisdom and judgement comes from lessons like this.....Don't let it happen again and you will be the better for it. Several of my toughest lessons came from being hosed by friends.........it hurts bad...... :(
