Other Players in Albany?

Hey AP, I'm Looking for people who live close by in Albany. When myfriends an I start playing in July, we will be practicing in North Albany, and other places close by.

I just wanted to see who is close and would be willing to play in small games to play and practice.

Everything is up in the air right now. There is no solid plan until I see how many people live nearby.

I have several people already who want to play with me in my group of friends.
about 4-5 not including me.

I live in Corvallis, and wouldn't mind playing in Albany (as long as it is a sanctioned field, that has been approved by both the field owner, and local police). There are quite a few people in this area that wouldn't mind playing.

As for other games, come check out the PSC game in Silverton this Sunday. We try to make it fun for everyone.

I live in albany, but will echo jester that it would need to be a field cleared with the landowner and the local pd.

Yeah It's Cleared. It is my Grandfather's Property and a Local Sheriff lives just down the road. We have played lots of games out there. And it never encroaches on any one else's property.

It's kind of small but it is a good place to test guns out and try new tactics.

If you're used to huge places, You might not care for it. But If people want to come check it out. I'm thinking of Setting up a kind of Range. And maybe some quick set up, take down Fortifications for some practice games.

I would love to come out but i have a lot of work to do for finals this next week.

I don't have any weapons to play with yet. I'm going to Florida, and in july i'm heading up to the outlet.

I'll make sure everything is still Ok before I invite any one. Don't worry.

Cool. Smaller fields can be fun (you don't spend hours hiking every where to find the other team. Set it up, and if I'm available, I'll come out. Even if you and your buddies just want an informal game, I'd be more then willing to come out and shoot around with people.

yeah we do casual style games. Get a work out.
we usually do ammo pool styles. Its cheaper, people don't have to waste their own private ammo.

We just run several scenario's we all vote on, make up our own. We have the same base rules when it comes to weapons, usually it is just regular weapons no special, IE (grenades, mines, whatever...)

Its kind of a 3 1/2 layered map.

Light wooded area, with a house. (inside is off limits, but we play around it)
Sparse dead wood, With a barn
Thick woodline
heavy brush, sparse tree.

Its fun, we're only going to use Bio rounds. We used to play before bio was very cheap, and there probably is still a couple thousand bb's hangin out in the grass.

I would like to get to know people, test out my gun when i get it.
I'll Make another post Before and after I get my gear, So I can get people together.

Great. Another student to dodge. Yeah, CJ and, as of recently, SOC--I'm teaching Social Problems in the fall.

and my girlfriend will never forgive me if I don't work on my 15 page paper.

I'm sure people could let you borrow a gun and a few mags. Ivan will be selling bb's onsite, and acu's would be fine. Our game isn't strict at all. We host the smorgasbord series to have a
bunch of small, fast paced, free games.
