Propane won't kill the gun even they suggest you to use 134A gas.
I just bought a TM G17 match overseas, probably will get it in 2-3 days. Will see how well it takes the propane :)

go with propane, cheap, and is sold almost anywhere. you'll end up saving money from green gas or what ever that 134a gas is even though the adapter can run you $30.

If you must know what 134a is it is actually freon gas and you can go to any auto shop ie. AutoZone to buy a can there. I asked a stupid question not so long ago about computer dusters as gas for pistols. Its actually true that you can use computer dusters as an alternative. I suggest asking kendodude.

Airsoft750, shut up. 134A is NOT PROPANE.

In order of power: 134A<Green Gas (propane)< CO2

Using green gas/propane in a gun that is rated for 134A could POTENTIALLY break your new toy. Go to Staples and pick up the cans of computer duster gas. Pull off the spray nozle that comes with it, and attach an Airsoft Innovations Duster Adaptor. Your FPS will be lower then normal, but it won't destroy your gun.

I dont think jester is going to "take a pill" you constantly blab useless shit and spount off where you should keep your dicksucking mouth closed.
You are in error here, not jester

OP if you buy a Airsoft Innovations Propane Adapter Kit, it should come with an adapter to use on cans of air that you buy at electonic stores. Go by a kit for like 30 bucks and save your gun in the long run

If your gun can't handle propane, then the cost in the long run will be more then it would be just using 134a. There is a reason that manufactures tell you the specifications. MOST plastic slide guns will run better and longer on 134a.

Green gas will wear your gun out faster than duster. You can do it, but expect to replace parts, specifically seals and parts that take the impact of recoil. This can mean the slide as well.

Basically, don't do it unless you're willing to pay for it later.

I'm with Jester on this one. Your original post, 750, confused everyone. Shut the hell up, please.

This is the duster adapter that comes with the AI Propane kit.
http://justpistols.co.uk/kit.htm#duster_adaptor

Remember, when you look on the back of the Duster gas, make sure it's Tetraflorothane.

Some of those cans of 134a from the auto store might have some other chemicals in it. Just get duster gas cheap from Frys or something.

How long would you say the estimated lifespan of a gun running just on green gas would last? I've been putting my KWA Mac 11 (version 1) through some serious punishment then, because GG is all I use, and it's survived for 4 years now. Is that uncommon?

It is fine for metal guns to use Green Gas but guns such as the TM's or any gun with a Plastic Slide is much more vulnerable to breaking then to a KWA Mac 11 or almost all KWA models.
