If you like big pistols, ssk Kendodude about his Desert Eagle or his Tanaka revolver. Those are fun to shoot.

Also, Tombstone's SAA is pretty sweet.

Check the Asian suppliers. Glocks o' plenty, with trades no less!

You have to order from oversees though :?

Last time I checked.....Asisa was indeed located overseas :D seriously I recently ordered a KSC glock 18 from uncompany (Hong kong)even with the freight it was less money than domestically. It took 6 days to arrive.

Oh, I wish they were still in stock, how much is shipping from there anyways?

Keep looking, there are multiple versions of the same model. Japan, Taiwan, metal slide... ad nauseum. go through the entire page. More Glocks than I have seen anywhere. Have to check on the freight, based on the prices I found stateside My total order w/ shipping was less than just the guns stateside. Plus they have em. read the whole site. pretty complete w/ info.

I humbly, and partially, disagree. Yes, it is a big mamma-jamma of a pistol. But I've actually found the grip to be perfect for my hand. Just saying. Its really all personal preference.

I agree with that. I find the grip to be oddly and suprisingly comfortable, but it is huge and heavy as shazaam, which gets old to aim with after a while.

Tokyo Marui's G17( original black version, competition Tan/OD versions) are still easy to obtain overseas, they are not bad at all, and PGC & other companies do make metal slides for them.

Deagles are nice... I don't think I can find one I would like that is around my budget range though.. As for revolvers they look sexy and are good to show off but they are impractical for what I want to do.. I might just stick to looking at 1911's just not the MEU models.

I left KSC/KWA for WE. WE is just robust, never had problem with it whatsoever. I have the MEU and the Kimber Desert Warrior. When all of my KSCs fails to perform for whatever reason, WE just keep kicking hard. I suggest u put 160% enhanced blue recoil spring for TM P226 (ehobbyasia.com) in the WE 1911, and for some odd reasons it enhances the kick. I have it in both of my WEs. The only downside is its gas consumption is bad, however finishing one mag till the slide locks isn't a problem.

My hand is not tiny and I don't mind weight. In my opinion I feel that I am working to hold a Desert Eagle vs. how a Sig Sauer P226 wants to stay glued into my palm without effort :D

I run the plain jane GI, but I've definitely been wanting to get a MEU slide for it. Finding holsters for the GI model is easy.

The pearl-gripped model has a squared trigger and is a phony pony finding kydex holsters for. But its pretty. My wife wants one.

The MEUs are nice for a more modern look, and some have rails for easily mounting a light.

My reason for advocating the single stack because of the magazine has only a little to do with capacity, and more to do with pricing.

Lets say you're in a fight. Your magazine goes tits up. If you have a double-stack, you're out 30 rounds for the day, and $35 when you replace that magazine. If your single-stack goes tits up, you're only out 15 rounds, and only $25 to replace.

Also, if you only have the one mag for your hicapa and it goes pear-shaped, you're done. If you run the single stack, you've got that extra magazine. But then, I carry two spare magazines, just because I'm paranoid.

Also, the Hicapa, to me, looks like a race gun, and I don't like that particular look. Thats a personal choice.

The single stacks cost $25 but the double stacks cost $30 so for $5 more you get double the capacity.. I know you are right about how if you have more mags in case of failure there are back ups which is a good thing to look at. I might be running a dual wield set up with just 2 spare mags. So if I were to run double stack I may get double the capacity who knows where I will go... So many possibilities when it comes to pistols..

Don't dual wield it's not very practical. If you want a lot of ammo and high fire rate just get a automatic glock and a 50 round extended mag
