Possible to pump up my exp/time at the next training? I realized I panic & down to tunnel vision when facing the enemies, but still tried to culculate how many enemies were close by.

If you come as early as possible Saturday, then camp the night Saturday night (lots of people will be doing it, or you can just stay in a close by motel if you don't want to share a tent with someone, I can bring an extra sleeping bag for Saturday night if you need one, but I still don't know about tent space ) you will be right there in the morning that way you are ready to go right away, and that way you can take part in the skirmish that will likely take place shortly before dark Saturday after training is done.

The tunnel vision will diminish with time under stress (although not totally). TV is a natural body defensive measure.
We are planning a night mission/skirm to hone skills re noise /light discipline and deployment. There should be ample trigger time, Dan will post the whole enchilada soon.

Re camping, unless it rains, a tarp will work fine to keep the dew at bay.......worst case scenario you can sleep on the floor of my shop or in a vehicle. Tents are nice but not essential. What you will really need is some kind of pad as the ground is pretty packed ( Hazelnut orchard)

Breakfast is hotcakes and some kind of meat on Sunday courtesy of the PLA 1/4

Thank you guys!
I do have a sleeping bag, I can even just crash out on the ground if I'm drunk :)
I think I have bad vision anyway, I trust my nose & ears more than my eyes~

There are always Silverton Goats ;-)

But yeah, we'll post it up shortly. Midterms and friends returning from Iraq have put a lot of stuff on hold. We have an Operations Order almost finished, and we're just tweaking the itinerary right now.

Day 1: Individual Skills
Day 1 night: Bonfire, Night game
Day 2: Breakfast courtesy of the 1/4 "Southern Comfort" (PLA's Southern Squad, based in Salem) + Squad level training, focusing on the attack.

May training details

Postby DJ » Mon May 10, 2010 1:36 pm

1. Since the Pickled Salmon is a no go, I will plan on having my Weber there for whatever you want to cook on Saturday night. I will purchase some Costco meat ( dogs & Polish) , chips and soda for your usage at my cost (Let me know if you plan on it so I can have an idea of how much to get). Breakfast is still on us.

2. Because IT WON'T STOP RAINING, plan on bring some extra "getting wet" clothing/shoes. The swamp is a kick butt place to air-soft, but its, well, a swamp. you will want to go in there, you will not drown ( unless you get stupid) but your gonna get wet. So be prepared!

3. B.O.B. ( big ol bonfire) on Saturday night after the night op. If you want snacks etc , bring em. Alcohol is OK but if you become a hazard / a$$..... I will drown you in the swamp and leave the carcass for cougar bait... Nuff said? If you have a light source for the night op, better bring it. If you have real night vision stuff.... better yet.

4. This is a working farm, Keep your vehicles in the designated parking area, Don't damage the nut trees. There will be ATVs & tractor in use for shuttling stuff around. Unless you have permission from me, stay off of em. If you have questions regarding anything ASK!

OK, this is sounding more awesome by the minute. If the Salmon is indeed a no go, I would love to partake of some costco meat products! Oh yeah, and count my brother the same.

Not a problem Pickles! just bring me salmon some other time :)

I don't understand why some people transform themselves into an anal after a few beer!? Or even half of a can!! I have seen people crying, beat up their best friends, beat up themselves..etc.

I beat myself after half a can. Heck, I'd beat myself even when I'm sober.
