Tingsoon, look at the post right above yours. It answers your question.

Also, if you have an AEG, please use that instead. Only the sniper teams (of which we already have them filled) are to use bolt actions. PM me if you have any questions.

The second ALPHA sniper/spotter team spot is still open. You are welcome to it if you want it, please also have a radio + earbud so we can communicate with you. Having a sniper doesn't help much if we have no idea what he's seeing.

Otherwise - If you'd rather keep it informal and go easy mode, ditch the ghillie and run your bolt action within the squad as a designated marksmen.

* TO ALL SNIPERS (and wannabee snipers): We have 2 slots available per side for sniper/spotter teams. Sniper/Spotter teams will be chosen at the discretion of the Company Commander based on your past experience and your knowledge of the scout sniper role. If you aren't assigned one of these roles, using your bolt action sniper rifle is not forbidden, but DISCOURAGED. You'll serve your squad better with an assault rifle, DMR or SAW. GHILLIE SUITS are only allowed for the sniper/spotter roles, everyone else must meet uniform requirements.

I thought I was allowed to run bolt within my squad, just without the ghillie. Is there a rule against using a bolt-action as a designated marksmen on Bravo? Thanks....

Yup, that's what I wrote, but it seems like BRAVO has decided to not allow them at all. Which means either they didn't see that rule listed or they specifically don't want to allow bolt rifles for anybody except their designated STA teams. I'd suggest sending a PM to Jester316, like he asked, and perhaps you can come to a compromise. Either they'll be able to utilize you as a DM or maybe they can wrangle up another gun for you.

I'm sure we can work something out.

Yeah I just pm'd him. I might be able to come up with another AEG from a friend but I'd like to field this bolt if I can... Also aquiring mid-caps might be a bit of a problem in 4 days... (unless I can borrow some).

I replied to your PM tingsoon.

And yes Matt, I am aware of what you wrote, I have just gone a little bit further with my team.

I'll repeat what I said to Tingsoon for all Bravo parties. If you want to utilize a bolt action outside of the STA team, please PM me.

Hey if I could catch a ride with someone that would be awsome! I am in the south portland area (Lake Oswego more specifically). I am able to pay for the service. I can also get to you, if you are near me, my dad just doesn't want to have to drive all the way there. PM please!

I planned on coming to this game and playing alongside my PSC teammates. I just found out that I need to work an overnight shift until 8:00 am the day of the game. The drive to Splat Action is an hour. This does not allow me to gear up and chrono on time. Is there something that can be done so that I may attend this event? I would leave work and make my way to the event immediately. Thanks
