PLA open training 22-23 May 2010

Where: Johnson Farm, 5936 Juniper st NE, Salem Oregon 97305
When: 0900 hrs May 22nd to 1700 hrs May 23rd
Who: PLA + Everyone is invited, Mandatory attendance for active PLA Squad members.
Cost: Free! ($1-5 donation accepted for maps and supplies)
What: Airsoft military simulation and training from real world military training cadre.

This months training features free food for those that inform us they are coming in advance, a pistol course and a night game.

Situation:
Enemy: Light infantry patrols throughout AO FARM.
Friendly: PLA and other invited guests of the A/S community. PLA operates in a platoon element as part of a notional company and battalion command structure.
Weather: ?
Terrain: Flat farmland interspersed with deciduous orchard. Elevation differential not more than 20 feet on south side of AO FARM. Pudding River runs SW to NE. Small stream is fordable with muddy bottom and dense vegetation lining embankments. Open terrain affords advantage to defensive operations. River embankment can serve as a concealed avenue of apporach to provide advantage to offense.

Mission: PLA conducts individual and squad tactical training at AO FARM commencing 0900 hrs May 22nd to 1700 hrs May 23rd at Johnson Farm, 5936 Juniper st NE, Salem Oregon 97305.

Execution:
a. Concept of operation.
1. Saturday:
0900-0930: Arival and safety briefing. DJJ.
0930-1030: 20/40m KD range. Darius
1030-1300: Individual and buddy team bounding
shooting stances. Darius/Eudorous/Mini
1300-1345: Lunch. Darius/DJJ
1345-1700:??
1700-1800: Dinner. Darius/DJJ
1800-1930: React to contact. Darius
1930-2100: Night attack. Eudorous/Mini
2100-2300? Admin. DJJ/Darius
2300: Lights out? DJJ.

2. Sunday:
0700: First Call. DJJ
0730 to 0900: Breakfast and cleanup. DJJ.
0900-0915: Safety Briefing. Eudorous
0915-1000: Radio refresher ?. ODA
1000-1130: ? (depends upon Saturday) ODA/Mini
1130-1215: Lunch. Darius
1215-1630: Squad/platoon drills. ODA/Mini/Eudorous
1630-1700: Debrief. Darius

b. Subordinate units: OPFOR. To be determined on site by leadership.
c. Coordinating Instructions:
1. Leadership Recon by Company and Battalion Staff. TBD. ODA, Mini, Eudorous
2. Portapotty: DJJ
3. Waivers: Eudorous/ODA.
4. Saturday training plan: TBD by those providing the training.
5. Notification of law enforcement? DJJ? Private property may omit?
6. 15 Cammenga compasses? Phoenix. ODA to provide separate directive.
7. Sleeping and eating areas designated. DJJ
8. Site safety briefings: DJJ/Eudorous
9. Transportation. Not sponsored. Infiltration to site by private arrangements
10. Arrival: 0900. Do not be late.
11. Sunday Endex: 1700 or as modified by leadership.

2. Water: On site. DJJ
3. Port-a-potty: DJJ

I only have had a total of 30min combat exp in the past 2 trainings/my life, less than 200bbs were shot.
Possible to pump up my exp/time at the next training? I realized I panic & down to tunnel vision when facing the enemies, but still tried to culculate how many enemies were close by.
