that was a hell of a lot of fun, barring the last game's stalemate. its a blast to play in a different environment and actually use the extra desert gear i have for once. i was worried that fine sand was going to get all up inside my gun and mags and such but i was on my belly in the sand plenty and had no problems, and i made sure to keep the dust cover on my M4 closed. even thought about putting a piece of 100mph tape over it to keep it closed.

ill make sure panzerfausts pics are posted as soon as he wakes his presumably hung-over a$$ up.

Thank you, Panzerfaust.

I just remembered some funny stuff I heard.

Rick(Nightshade): Okay, Okay, you can kick my a$$. I admit it, are you happy now?

Neil(Cobol): (Laughs)...No.

I also remember Neil taking down this one big dude. It was all over in like 10 seconds. Was that you, Baron? I've learned that Neil knows some tricks. He's a force to reckon with.

Even though it wasn't my car or anything, I want to thank Rico(think it was you) who found a coathanger, fashioned a tool, and gave his time to unlock Eclipzed's car. (Eclipzed accidentally locked his keys in his car.)

That was me... he beat me so quickly for 2 reasons... 1- I didnt want to crush my Oakleys.. and 2- I was busy picking his pockets... wasnt I Neil? ;) He will get a fair fight sooner or later.

No, it just needs to be done right. Some points to think about. For VIP Rescues/Intercepts, the briefings must be done at the same time, with everyone paying attention... thats my only complaint about yesterday; the poor organizion.

This is how it was supposed to go: Team A has the VIP. Team B must get the VIP. Team A must get to thier extraction point with VIP intact, and hold the VIP at the extraction point for 5 minutes. Team B must intercept the VIP, abduct him, and take him or her to thier extract point and hold them there for 5 minutes. The VIP may also be killed, but in order for victory to be achieved, they must then kill the entire team before extracting.

The problem was, the rules were not explained well enough. Practice makes perfect. All in all, I had a good time... aside from the foot trouble.. which Im working on.. Looking forward to games there in the future.

I found the day quite enjoyable, as did my father.

I really like the field if only for the fact that it's different. The sand is an interesting factor to play with.

Overall, Well done.

Thanks for having us out guys. We hope to come out again later this spring. Now that we know the field a little bit, perhaps we can colaberate on some new scenarios.

Cheers

True, he did take my car keys, not that it would have done him much good with a broken elbow. ;) But yeah, he didn't really expect to be attacked, otherwise he would have taken off his oakleys first. I'm sure things might have turned out differently. Someday we'll find out.

Anyway, good fun everyone, the field was nice, though the brush was hella thick. It made flanking basically impossible. On some of those trails it was like trying to fight down a hallway. If you guys took a day and bunch of machetes and cut a few paths through the brush it'd make the field all that much better. It was nice to have a dry day and the sand made for some interesting changes. For one, my pistol got mucked up and became non-functional. It was still fun though.
