How did you modify the handle to accept a battery? It has a motor in it, there is no room.

Are you talking about the hand guards towards the front?

im sure he does mean the foregrip.

a mini type 9.6v battery should work with little or no modification, but its going to be a tight fit.

yes the foregrip. peq box are stupid and i didnt want to change my stock, so i used a 9.6 nunchuck batt. and removed the bottom two screws and plate, then replaced screws with simiular size but longer. next i got nylon small tubes, bout 1/4 inch long and installed on the inside of grip then plate and tightened down onto the nylon washer tubes. i now had a 1/4 inch gap at the bottom of the handle. took 3m electrical tape and taped the gap. my handle is extended on the bottom now and works great.

How about a battery that has a better amps per size ratio, like a lipo.
