This thing uses a hop up tracer unit to determine when you run dry and locks the motor

It won't fire again till you hit the bolt release.

Holy crap, that thing is the greatest MOSFET in the world.

I just looked at the price, and at ~$90 per unit, that is quite impressive.

It is common knowledge.

Shogun, if you can get your MOSFET to work without modifying mags that would be awesome. If it can work on odd hop-ups as well that would be even sweeter. :D

I believe when he says they mod the mags, it means they glue a metal tab or some magnet on the top of the mag so the Mosfet knows when to let you shoot.

cap n pickles is correct. it ill work in any hopup because there is no need for a sensor in the hopup or any modification to the hopup. at all.

also the # of rounds fired before the bolt stops would be fully programmable so you can choose.

Do you guys have a ETA on this project? I would be one of the first costumers on top of this.

Actually, the product that shogun mentioned sounds even better what with the hopup remaining unmodified. Can't wait for it to be released.

Ah, I see. Now my interest is through the roof for this. Maybe I'll need to figure out some other challenge for you to overcome. :D

well we have the first production samples out now being tested, they include the following features, 3 round burst, lipo protection circuit, and adjustable rate of fire. the second production samples are currently being fabed, and they will add additional I/O ports for open bolt function, active breaking, and an onboard USB port for programming.

I dont have a a solid ETA for a market ready product, but it should be soon. Its really just dependent on how many times i can blow it up =P

so if it counts the rounds, is there any way you can have a magnet in different areas on 30 rd AR mags and 20 rd AR mags to allow 30rds through the 30rd mags and 20 rds through the 20rd mags? possibly by having magnet based switches in different areas in the magwell.
Im interested in this as it is but thought it would be kinda cool if this idea was possible.
