I apologize about Impact's mis-information to the airsoft community.
I am Gemlee, commander of the Praetorian Guard Airsoft club in Fort Lewis, WA and the owner of the Flashpoint facility. At this time, there is no plan to make this CQB facility open to the public. Flashpoint is a PRIVATE CLUB. Impact's membership is now compromise. If there is any questions regarding this, please PM me only. Thank you.

why are you posting this....so that gemlee can come in and say...."Hey this is a private game run at a private club, you are not invited"

if i see him post that in this thread, just like the last flashpoint intro thread, ill probably never give you any buisness no matter how cool you think your location is.
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

This is an event that they are running out of their facility and are inviting people to come play.

There was some confusion as to if Flashpoint was going to be an open event site or a private one. It has been stated that it is a private one but that they will run events for people to come play from time to time.

Personally I would love to be there but I'm tied up that weekend I just hope my team makes a showing.

All of the rules and info is posted in the link they provided.

Sir Kabar,

Please let me elaborate what it means to be a private club. A private club means that unlike Tac Tac....the public just can not show up, pay, and expect to play at zero time notice. We do not have the staff and our parking areas can not accommodate that type of service. However, we are exploring the idea of membership to Flashpoint; allowing certain amount of the airsoft community to schedule, train, attend Flashpoint scheduled events.

The mis-information I was referring to was the one that Impact wrote stating that Flashpoint has a Grand Opening in May. We have been opened for the last 2 weeks but did not hold an event until Operation White Jindo. I apologize for the mass confusion that this generated.

Looks hot. I'll try to scrounge up some PLA, though it's a bit short notice for us, so we'll see how many teams we can form up.

What's the square footage of the playing area?

Sir Darius137,

The whole building is about 34,000 square feet. We are using approximately 15,000 sq/ft thats including the admin areas.

Just so this is answered. There are only 2 people that should post anything related to Flashpoint. That is myself and Gemlee. If you see something posted by either of us in relation to 'Flashpoint' or Roy Field you can take it to the bank. We may come in and clarify each others posts from time to time but if I post up an event happening at either spot trust me it is happening.

So everyone knows you can PM myself or Gemlee on our boards if you ever have any questions about our team. We will try to get back to you in a timely manner. We are both very approachable and listen to what people tell us on our AARs and during our Events so that we can always make things better for the Airsoft Community.

Thanks for your time and I hope you guys can all come out and have fun in our New Club!

Where is this site located? What sort of drive time are we looking at from Portland?

Sir Darius137,

The site is located in Tacoma; approximate drive time = two hours (considering there is no traffic)

I definitely want to come, but are the weapon reqs really single shot only? If it is, why? It seems like an unusual rule for a sport dominated by automatics.

Sir Vibora,

Indeed, it is. However, when we fielded single shot vs automatic during Operation White Jindo, majority of the operators find it more tactically challenging when relying on tactical maneuver, communication, and planning skills vs pure fire power. Try it sir, you might find it to your liking. :)

PS. if you don't have any sigle shot weapon, the club have shotguns and pistols available for rent on site.

I *really* wish we could go, but PLA has a member hosting a game this weekend, and we didn't get enough people together on short notice to carpool up there.

We will make the next one! Just give us a couple months advance so people can clear schedules and plan a caravan. That place looks amazing, and Oregon has kinda ran out of urban sites. :'(
