Best/real looking toy M14?

Postby GacktC » Wed Apr 14, 2010 4:07 am

Hello,
My friend is out of the service & finally moving back to HK (due to too many car racing violation, accidents, courts..).
He loves to get an airsoft M14 (he was issued with a real one in the army), and wonder what is the best brand to get(cares more external than internal), which is atleast 90% looks like the real ones.
I believe he has tons of memories with his M14 back in Afghan, probabaly that is why he wants to have a real looking toy M14 so bad.
He will buy it in HK, so it doesn't has to be the ones/brands carry in asgi, evike, airsoftoutletNW, AEX..etc.
G&P M14 any good?
Thanks!

I saw a G&G this weekend and yes I would say it is pretty nice.

The G&G Veteran with the wood stock would probably be my first pick for that type of M14.

Definitely go with the G&G M14 with the walnut stock (a.k.a. the Veteran).

You'll want to refinish the wood by removing the factory finish and doing something yourself, though. I used a single coat of black stain over the wood followed by a few coats of linseed oil.

G&G, have one and love it. Just get a wood stock not plastic. It can snap easily like mine did...

Thanks guys!
G&G doesn't has that "made in the greedy island" trademark on it right?
My friend wants the one he was issued with while in service..don't know if the GnG ones is the one that he has been using.:)

What does most of that last question even mean, dude?

I know many of the G&G guns come with their own trades, which is "made in the greedy island", so I wonder if the M14 has that as well?
I guess I better use the word "uses daily" than the word "sleeping with".
Sorry for the confuse.
Plus I just looked at the picture of that G&G M14, 75% of that rifle is made out of wood, I thought the M14 is all black..

The newer ones can come with OD or Black polymer stocks. The original M14 came with a wood body instead.

So the wood body is the most common ones then?
I know some black, tan & OD called EBR, and what is EBR??
Thanks Junto!

I rock the g&g, love it, except the outer barrel is impossible to find flash hiders or suppressors for. Other than that, it is a beast. Just put in a tight bore barrel and it rocked.
