Hey. Don't forget the huge airsoft groups based out of eastern Washington and part of northern Idaho.

I don't think it would be any worse for hacking than any large public game. No trophies no money. You have to split sides in every game. Not too much difference really.

I bet if we looked hard enough we could find a spot on the border somewhere.

the longer this goes on the less it sounds like a good idea to me. i left paintball cause it was just all about winning and the fun was thrown to the wayside. even if there was fair judging there would be animosity due to people going "waaah they cheated, i know they did." and also it would turn into an annual grudge match.

on the other hand...

maybe a better way to set it up would be in an Olympics style format. amass a large number of events ranging everywhere from squad based tactics and sniper/spotter shooting comps to a mid to large scale force on force. set up a scoring system that awards points per event to an overall score that turns into a total for the state and go to town. this way people are competing against their own team mates as well in certain events and its not just a cluster shazaam of "were gonna win cause weve got the newest baddest tech or ive been in a combat zone or what-the-fuck-ever else other crap people can come up with as to why they're better.

Could you please contact Dan AKA Darius137 on the forums, he has been looking for a few military rigs for a game coming up.

Thanks.

Maybe I should mention that it's 50 miles east of San Francisco. If he's willing to cover my expenses, I'm open to it.

I disagree, to be honest, I think most of the people who come on here are honorable players, and if they aren't honorable players, they would have been shamed of the forums here. Granted, you might find a little more bias in admins to ones home state, but I say pair up a Washington with an Oregon admin, and that should help alleviate any misnomer of favoritism.

I for one would actually enjoy a game like this. Though how would you determine where the team plays under. For instance TT has players in Wa and Oregon, do they play where the team is based, or do they play where they live at.

We have over 20 members now, alot of them from Oregon. I want to say it should be from where the team is based so for us it would be the north but letting the teams decide would work too.

I would fight to fight for the north in this game.

By the way someone said they quit paintball because it became all about winning and the fun was left behind. I say WINNING is FUN, try it sometimes it is addicting....

and thanks for the post john boy...enlightening and full of knowledge as usual
