Should I be suspicious part 2

lets clear this up.

Grunner is my little brother and the eotech is mine. He posted it for me as I don't have time to watch the boards daily(look at my posts). I was into it right, and needed another copy of MW2 so a trade seemed to make sense. Later that week Grunner went on a trip with the family. The GF and I could not go because of work. Knowing this I told him I would handle the trade if he found somebody.
Enter Lazer.
You all seen the IMs which clearly stated what was going on.
I don't have a problem with being suspicious but posting a persons private info on an open forum is not ok. I am a mod on large firearms related site and that is grounds for account suspension there.

Maybe you should read the stickies and forum rules HERE. Sorry that your information got posted and you dislike that fact, but nooone really cares where you are a moderator at and what the forum is like there. AP is what AP is, and will always be until it doesn't work anymore. We've had plenty of scams here before, and it is right to be suspicious, especially when a 14 year old is posting for a 39 year old.

1. Illegal activity is NOT tolerated. Do not intentionally or even jokingly talk about committing illegal activity with Airsoft replicas. Doing this will definitely result in you being barred from attending events and banned from using these forums. Also please note that members of Law Enforcement agencies frequent this board.

2. Adult content is NOT allowed. Our members can be as young as 13 years old, any content posted should be considered "PG13" or younger.

3. Promotion of websites and services through the Airsoft Pacific forums without express permission from Airsoft Pacific is NOT acceptable. Such posts will be removed without warning. If you want to advertise, see our sponsor/advertiser page.

4. Treat other posters with respect. Personal attacks will not be permitted. Posts that intentionally "troll" for arguments or shock value will be removed.

5. DO NOT post advice regarding upgrades or which products to buy unless you have EXTENSIVE experience on the subject-matter.

6. DO NOT post irrelevant topics in places where they don't belong. Posts in the wrong forum will be removed without warning.

Huh? I have done nothing against the rules, nor started a pissing match. Remember I was not the one the posted personal info online.

As for being a mod, your right it doesn't matter but was mentioned in regards to posting peoples personal info online and how it is usually handled. Also, what does it matter if Grunner posted something for sale? Do you really think that is all that strange for my little brother to help me out?

Lastly, what exactly is your problem with my post? You say I need to read the rules, etc etc. yet you dont mention what I did wrong nor what it is that you have a problem with.

I think the issue was in the PM's it wasn't clearly stated that he was your brother selling it for you. Having seen the PM's, the did seem pretty ambiguous. In the end, it was resolved. No need to worry about it anymore.

Maybe I should make myself more clear that I am talking about no one has broken any forum rules. You were talking about how on YOUR forum Lazer did something wrong. I was saying he has done nothing wrong on this forum.

What this boils down to is you have a personal issue about your information being posted, so you should take that up with the person in a kind manner, such as "Hey, I noticed you posted some personal information about me and I don't appreciate it. Would you mind taking that part out of your posts?"

Problem solved with no need for another thread, when it was stated that all business transaction issues were resolved in the first one.

Indeed it did, I have to say that is is fort of my fault for freaking out a bit; I had heard so much about scams and whatnot going on in the classifieds and I was unsure what to do. The only thing I have to say about this would be that if you had merely mentioned he was your brother, or if he had done so about you, it would have all been clear. Otherwise, I will be very happy when we finally make the trade : )
