If you are going to this and you like salmon, or even if you don't like it, you should definitely get some from Pickles. HIS SALMON IS AMAZING.

Maybe I will :) I usually can't eat during a game/training, too much stress to digest the food, I just drink lots of monster, rock star drinks; and smoke.
Also, if eating too full, will be a problem to look for a place to poo.
Pee & poo are the toughest things to achieve during a game/training at the field..Such as, how far I have to walk so people don't see me, how much time do I have?
Haha..maybe I am just crazy.

There will be a latrine facility at the next event.

Notice, if you can only attend a single day of training on this evolution please attend training on the Sunday

Situation:
1.Enemy: DRAT operates light infantry patrols throughout the Area of Operation (AO). Expect to encounter squad sized reconnaissance elements, sniper teams, and foot mobile infantry.
2.Friendly: PLA operates in platoon strength and conducts training and sweeps of the AO.
3.Weather: Rain and mist. Temperature approximately 45 to 55 Fahrenheit. The weather is a neutral factor in offensive and defensive operations. Visibility approximately 300 feet or less depending upon precipitation. Damp ground cover affords some maneuver advantage to the offense by mitigating noise.
4.Terrain. Moderately light to medium density coniferous forest with light slope, uneven terrain, and light undergrowth favor a prepared defense by offering adequate visibility and fields of fire. Cover consists of deadfall and heavy trees with undulating terrain forming natural depressions. Concealment consists of light undergrowth and secondary tree growth of deciduous nature. A stream cuts across a portion of the AO.
a.Roads: The major avenue of movement consists of a two lane paved to hard pack road which flanks the AO on its southern boundary and runs roughly south to north. The road is capable of supporting vehicles at speeds of 20 MPH. Various logging trails and gravel roads intersect the AO and support movement of light vehicles and light infantry patrols.
b.Elevation: Differentials of several hundred feet with up to 15% slope in some areas, steeper at the embankments of water courses.
c.Water: Alder Creek runs generally north to south in a ten foot depression with light to heavy vegetation impeding movement into its embankments. The creek is passable, but the current is swift during the wet season and the stream is knee to waist deep. Placed under fire, the stream affords an advantage to the defense as an obvious danger area and natural obstacle.
d.Built up areas. A village is reported to be in the AO. Intelligence indicates it consists of six to eight ramshackle, wooden structures.
Mission: PLA conducts communication and land navigation training and tactical operations at Scappoose training area (Vicinity Scappoose, OR) on Sunday, April 25th, 2010 at 0900.
Execution:
1.Concept of the Operation: Units arrive at the AO by start time to participate in the following training:
a.Land navigation: Present level of training will focus on simple maneuver. Map work deferred to a future time.
1)Pace count. 100 meter count in flat and rough terrain.
2)Compass: Set azimuth: Silva or H3 type compass instruction provided.
b.Communications:
1)Basic radio procedure on FRS type radio equipment.
2)COI usage.
3)Execution of procedures during maneuver and control by command element.
c.Team level maneuver and engagements.
1)Units to negotiate short range maneuvers using land navigation skills.
2)Units to negotiate medium range maneuvers and conduct an action or engage enemy forces in a series of low threat exercises.
d.Squad and platoon level maneuver and engagements. Units will operate together to maneuver against a prepared enemy defense utilizing tactical movement, communications, and land navigation skills.
2.Coordinating Instructions:
a.Schedule of events and primary instructor:
1)0900 to 0930. Arrival. Individuals make their own transportation arrangements. ODA
2)0930 to 0940. Safety briefing (at gate): Darius.
2) 0945 to 1130. Land navigation. ODA, Mini-Marine, Eudorous, Junto (DRAT)
3) 1130 to 1300. Communication: ODA, Darius, squad leaders, Junto (DRAT)
4) 1300 to 1345. Lunch. Darius
5) 1345 to 1500. Team level maneuvers. Eudorous, ODA, squad leaders, Junto (DRAT)
6) 1500 to 1700. PLA level maneuver. Eudorous, ODA, squad leaders, Junto (DRAT)
6) 1700. Endex
b.Law enforcement notification: Eudorous to notify Columbia County Sheriff.
c.Units on right and left. None.
d.Units above PLA. None. PLA provides an HQ element that will provide and observe training.
e.OPFOR: DRAT coordination: Junto and Eudorous. Seeking to field a squad sized element to act as snipers, road patrols, actors, and defense in place.
f.COI: ODA. Prepare simple call signs and frequency instructions.
g.Lesson Plans: Primary instructors are required, as a minimum, to have written talking points when providing instruction in the field.
1)Land Navigation: ODA
2)Communication: ODA
3)Maneuver: Eudorous
h.Waivers.
1)Post link to waiver. Instruct all to sign and return via email. Verify minors with parent. Eudorous.
2)Bring blank copies of waivers. ODA

1.Food

Good luck with your training, map reading and communications are some of the things that are most overlooked in airsoft.

I will have 10-15 compasses (Metal lensatic compasses with thumb loop, glow in the dark dial, etc) available for purchase. They will be USGI type, the only real difference being that the dial is glow in the dark, not tritium, to bring prices down. Price TBD, but likely around $15.
