Discussion of GBB (gas blowback) replicas.

Range is gonna be just short of where you want it to be. That's how all airsoft guns work.

Run with the boys pickles? Does that mean running pistols only is running with the men?

gera229, you obviously haven't been around long, haven't read the stickies, and haven't tried to do any reasearch of your own so I'm not sure how much help we can be. If you are just getting into airsoft then like pickles said go get yourself a JG AEG, it will out range and out shoot any stock pistol any day of the week. Then down the road when you've been to a years worth of games and seen what you like and know what type of role you want for yourself on the field you can upgrade you rifel or save up for a new better one, or decide that pistols only is the way you want to go, and you will have seen enough of them and talked to people in person to decide what you ACTUALLY want. AEG's and Pistols are two diferent types of beast. There is no such thing as a non-leaky pistol if you don't take care of it, and don't ask us how to take care of a pistol so it doesn't leak, look it up on the stickies.
I have run pistols only, but I bought a used pistol for $130, and put $55 worth of work product into it and about 8 hours of reasearch and tweaking into the process to know exactly what I needed. Then I had to reinvent the wheel, as it were, to play airsoft in the age of the AEG.

Just my two cents,
~M

Haha, true. And well put.

I recommend the WE 1911 MEU. Great gun, comes with an extra mag on ASGI.

Is the glock accurate? Like does it fly to the left or the right after about 70+ feet?

I can advocate, as I always do, for the WE single stack 1911s. I love mine, as do most who have one.

Only problem is the heavy-ass slides, making it a damn gas hog.

Actually, I've never had that issue. I get a mag fill per gas fill. And its not really that heavy, considering the construction, although yes, compared to a plastic gun, it is heavy, but it feels nice in the hand. And they're cheap, in a good way. Having run one, as a primary, at an OP, I can attest to their reliability.

The KWA ones I have shoot pretty right on.

No, running with pistols only is what gets you killed and into re-spawn ten time fold when you don't know what you're doing.

Its fine when you're a complete Bad a$$, but he needs to get an AEG so he can play games at a higher level and make an impact.

How is he suppose to cover his friend with 20 rounds?
