PSC Presents: Smorgasbord Skirm

PSC Presents: Smorgasbord Skirm

When: April 25th, 2010 from 10am to 3pm. Please show up 30 minutes early to gear up/chrono. We will be moving out to the field at 10 sharp.
Where: Silverton Field, 2634 Lorence rd, Silverton, OR
How Much:$5 for the skirm. This money will be used to update the field, and help to rebuild a CQC area at the Farm.
What is it: Silverton Smorgasbord is a lineup of fast paced, varying skirms. We will be doing things such as Capture the Flag, King of the Hill, Ides of March, and many more. The great thing is, if you don't like the current game, just wait, the next one will be something different.

Standard AP FPS Limits Apply:
400 AEG
550 Bolt Action





Due to lack of interest, and conflicting games, we have decided to cancel the Sneaky Bastard Competition. Maybe when it's warmer, we'll reincarnate it. THE SKIRM IS STILL GOING ON, for anyone who just wants to come out and shoot people.

Sounds like fun but...
I can see the "guards" just bedding down in hides overlooking the primary waiting to off the sneak.

Will the guards be instructed to behave like sentrys (walk about upright) or will they be allowed to bed down in wait?

Guards are being supplied. They will have strict rules to follow. They have no interest as to who wins, so theoretically they will behave the same for all competators. Even if the guards bunker down, it'll make them that mch easier to go around.

But, the guards will have strict paths to follow, certain triggers (sight, sound, touch,...) that allow them to engage, and varying levels of skill. You will face dumb overworked and under paid guards through contractor types who won't get paid unless their charge lives.

UPDATE:

The cost of this event has been changed. Due to structures for the field that will enhance overall gameplay, we have decided that the skirmish will be $5, and the Sneaky Bastard Competition will also be $5. If you want to do both, then it's $10. Please keep in mind that this money will be going back into the field to help make it better, and possibly reincarnate the old CQC area.

If you are interested in competing, please PM me so I can send you the paypal link. You must prepay to lock in your spot for Sneaky Bastard.
