TacTac Experiences (split from TacTac's video thread)

I highly think that they lack common sense! Considering how they treat there customers...
Never again will I attend TIC TAC, do to the cheating that the employees display and there non professional approach. Tic Tac gets a 1 out of a 10 for lack of common sense and honesty and the the lack of respect that they show to customers. I also think that the trailer sucks by the way

TacTac is fun when the refs aren't retards. Just recently, I went to TacTac and had a great time. No thanks to the a$$ of a ref. I enter the staging room, see that most of the guys are TacTac vets, and we're joking around and other stuff. Then this guy comes in wearing a ref's vest, and he's like, "Okay, no sh*t here, I'm gonna give the rules." Then me and my friend roll our eyes and go back in the back room and talk while he's doing that. Then he comes in and he says, "WTF, guys get your asses out here." We tell him that we've been given multiple briefs many times before, and that we didn't need to hear it again. He then said he didn't give a sh*t, and that we needed to get back in the staging room.

I will return to TacTac in the future, but I'm near my limits.

You don't skip briefings, even if you are a 5up4h 1337 41r50ft3r at 14.

Wow. Why all the hate? It's a promo video with a guy doing flips and stuff. THIS VIDEO IS A MOVIE TRAILER NOT A AIRSOFT GAME.

Sorry to hear about the issues with the refs. I wish someone would have brought it to my attention sooner but the ref in question was ask to stop reffing about 2 weeks ago. There is a whole back story and such but it really doesn't change anything.

I will disagree on several points though:

1. None of the rules are enforced

A gross overstatement. Of course we enforce our rules. This is a double edged sword. When we enforce the rules strictly we are called disrespectful when something slips by we are then not enforcing any rules.

2. they refuse to listen to constructive criticism (i.e. hey have you thought about moving this door?)

I'm not sure what you expect here? We change the facility up on a regular basis. Are you suggesting that we should change the facility based on what people suggest randomly? Moving a door is a pain in the a$$ because it is a 30" opening and the studs in the walls are 24" apart meaning a door move requires that we completely reconstruct the wall.

3. Cheating

This is not our fault. Believe it or not, there is cheating in airsoft. Our refs are out there to enforce safety rules and make sure everyone keeps their eyepro on, shoots under limit, doesn't blind fire, etc. We can't call everyone's hits. That is the responsibility of the players.

Bottom line is that we run the facility the best we can. There are always going to be issues that come up. The best we can do is try to correct them.

I personally apologize about the refs and any time you want to come and volunteer to help out reffing please let me know. Good refs are hard to find. All we can do is try to get better. That is what we try to do. Our goal is to be better tomorrow than we were today.

Welcome to the world of business. Your "referees" should be there to call rule violations, which include cheating. ALL rule violations, otherwise they should be referred to as "safety employees" or "safety representatives," not "refs" or "referees," which are:

2 : a sports official usually having final authority in administering a game

You are there to make sure that the customers are happy AND safe, not just . If you were free, then your referees could stand around all day sticking their thumbs in people's armpits for all I could care, but since you are a business, customer service is pretty god damn high on the list of shit to care about. When a customer brings up a point, you don't argue with them, you do the best you can to fix it. Again, free? Tell them to shove it. Paying customer, you better pay the shazaam attention and respond in kind.

You won't be getting any of my bleeding business based on your customer service in this thread, and I sure as hell will discourage anyone I can in the future.

Welcome to the world of LOSING business.

Yeah it happens but its not expected when its coming from the employee's.
And than when you try to address it you end up getting yelled at by the guy who is supposed to be moderating the game... So all in all it is your fault when its your guys doing the cheating, check yourself and your team before you make the assumption that its not your fault.

I see the point about the briefings, but in the past, ie since they opened, I have attended multiple briefs. The briefs are just rule readings, and previous refs have stated to me and my friends that we do not need to be in the room when the rules are being read. Everytime I came into a room when the rules had just been read, the ref would ask me if I had heard the rules, I would say yes, and he wouldn't care.

The ref I am referring to was the one who staffed this past Saturday from around 1-3. I don't know about the 17 year old.

If you have problems, go there and hash it out like a man. Get your personal garbage off the boards.

I've admin'ed at two of the three facilities that have been in this area and I'd could say that easily 80% of the cheating complaints made by players are either false or unprovable. Just because the staff won't cater to your whining doesn't make them cheaters, nor does thinking, even if you're sure, that you shot someone make them a cheater in any definite sense. Find a way to prove it or shut your cakehole.

Have you admin'd at Tac TAc?
If you have not then you should keep your mouth piece in. It's not hard to miss a fat kid on the airsoft field.
I'm just stating that there customer service sucks and when you do step up like a man and confront them on it you get told to sit down and shut up or leave, and that's exactly what I did.. Like a big better man I left the facility and never have gone back. And Now that they are promoting there facility on a site that I enjoy visiting I am getting the chance to expose my encounter with there unprofessional way of operating a business. And it is not like Im the only one has had issues on the matter.

Nothing is perfect. Again as I said in the last thread, I'm sorry that you had a bad experience. You are right, you are not the only person who has had complaints. We've had about a dozen or so people come forward with problems. But at last count we had just under 1500 different people come through the facility in the last 6 months and we've had 20 times as many compliments as we had complaints. Even if there are 5 times as many people who had problems we're still at less then a 5% dissatisfaction rate and while I would love to have 100% happiness, there is only so much we can do. We try to address issues as we can and we try to change things based on comments from the players.

What would you do to make it better? We're not perfect - far from it but I do think we try to make it a great experience for everyone. If there are solutions that you can think of that would make things better we are more than willing to try them if they make sense.

I would have a better staff and take a customer service course at the local C.C.
Hope things get better and your business succeeds, I only attended your facility once. You know what they say about first impressions. And it was like getting robbed and then getting told that your shit outta luck...

Good luck!

I am more than happy to refund your money or give you a free pass for your next visit. Let me know how much you paid and when you came in and we will take care of you. Staffing is always an issue and we are always trying to improve it. It is very frustrating from our side as well to see the issues and not be able to address them.

As I tell everyone, if there is an issue please come see me - I am there 99% of the time and I will do my best to make things better. I appreciate your support and we will try to make it better.

I've gone 3 times and have seen how the field has changed and after seeing what they've just added I can't wait to go again.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Hellmutt and his crew both at Tac Tac and at the Battlesim games.

I for one am looking forward to my next trip up.

300 fps is fine, and fps in a rifle only determines that your bb will take 3/4 of a second over 1/2 of a second.
