Getting a field

There is this empty space of land in with a river in between in (refer to pic) and i was wondering if you thought this would be far enough away from public to use?

First off... who owns the property.

Im assuming the city of Tigard does. But back to the point. I was wondering if it was isolated enough.

-shakes head- Nope. That's still within city limits. You have to get outside of the Portland metro, and damn far from Beaverton to find a place. Just come out to a Scappoose or Silverton skirm, dude. It's not worth the risk.

No dude. No. You can't just arbitrarily find some empty spot on a map and go play Airsoft there. City limits are a NO GO. BLM and Forestry land is usually fine, but for larger organized events where you are charging money they'll want a piece and they may come out and hassle you. For smaller groups and informal skirmishes, BLM/Forestry land is great.

The point has to be first and foremost...say it with me...Is It In City Limits. ANY city limits. If the answer is yes, (and in this case from your map it is in Tigard city limits) it does not matter how isolated it is.
