What's the mortar market looking like these days? I'm wondering how many mortar launcher products are actually out right now. So far I have found 2 different mortar launchers by [url=http://www.milsimlabs.com[/url]. They're actually quite cheap, but I have no idea how effective they are. The 400' range version seems decent, and the fact that you have to pump it up seems like a good thing, meaning it's easier to operate with 2 guys and there's some delay between shots.
Anybody know of any others? Apparently the people making and selling them really suck at being found on Google. NOT INTERESTED in do-it-yourself stuff, time is money and I'd rather find a complete package that's ready to operate.

it looks like that is the 11charlie mortar - www.11charlie.com
The pics on AONW are the same as the ones there - and its their M19 mortar.
I did a quick search around on google, but cant seem to find any reviews on the M19, or on their discontinued M29 mortars.
The vids are pretty cool though..

all i know is that from what the manufacturer told us, its supposed to lob one of those foam rocket things between 200-300 yards.

I'm currently working on a design to launch either the pocket vortex footballs, or a larger model that fires the 'Vortex Mega Howlers'.
Will be crew operated like the real deal, and have the capability to do back to back shots without refilling a reservoir.

Shiiiiit. Looks like one person could carry and service that thing. Where's the heavy-ass base plate? The heavy a$$ tube, the ammo crate, and the dude with the sighting gear?

If you want ready-made, an option is to haul an M79 and a ton of ammo. Even in real life, the M79 was used in the indirect fire role by attaching the rifle grenade sight from the Springfield 1903.
That aside, building one is really your best bet. Maybe just contract someone to build it to your specs?
