g&p hop up unit

I have heard lots about, the g&p hop up unit, people that buy guns with the unit stock complain, but people that buy it as an aftermarket upgrade say it is excellent, can some one give me a brief review of it? Because i am confused if it is good or crap.

I just installed one in my friend's gun, and I kinda liked it. The adjusting wheel is quite stiff so the hopup will be consistent, and it's smooth overall. I would recommend it, but then again I haven't worked with too many hopup brands. I'll just say it's better made than the Dboys metal hopup unit.

It's way better than most of your china-made ones. It's not as good as a Bravo Hop-Up unit or the MadBull Ultimate M4 hop-up unit.
