Looking to join SW Portland / Tigard area team Field and CQC

Postby Mercury » Mon Mar 15, 2010 5:40 pm

Hi I'm new to AP. I'm 25 years old. I have lived in the Portland area my whole life and have just recently started to play airsoft. I'm Looking for a team that is serious about play, but enjoys airsoft enough to have fun and not turn it into a drama club. I Have a CA SR10 and a Echo1 p90, so a team that plays both field and CQC would be awesome. I am always available to play on the weekends and weeknights. I love airsoft and cant really get enough of it so im looking for a team that is doing things all the time. If your team has certain requirements for gear, I have no trouble getting the stuff to meet your requirements. thanks -dale

What assets do you have that you think will benefit a team?

Well first of all, Im honest! I play by the rules. I try to be very clear in my communication with my teammates and make sure i know what the plan of attack is. I guess I really don't know what you are asking. This would be my first airsoft / military simulation team i have ever been in so I'm not sure what you are looking for.

Come out to some games, and meet some people is the best advice I can give. If you stand out to anyone, they'll likely come talk to you. If you put yourself out there and get to know everyone you'll be much more likely to find a team that fits you and you fit.

Welcome to AP!

The best way to meet people and teams is come to games. There is a big game this weekend you could come there and meet a lot of the local teams.

Team choice is all about the team that will best fit you. Teams can range from more serious about training and using tactics, to just having fun with their friends and everything in between.

Have you decided which camo you like and want to use, because most teams use only a few camo styles.

As CQC goes, indoor games are few and far apart thus not to many local teams train for it. My team, SOTA, does however regularly train indoors.

Hope this helps
