G26 (Glock Sub-Compact) Issue

Postby Archangel 06 » Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:21 am

I own an HFC G26 Sub-Compact, and managed to destroy the valve area in the slide. I do not know the actual name for the section that is broken*, but it is the part that you remove by removing the rear sight (Yes I do know that is a whole group of parts...read on). I was wondering if someone with a full-size Glock could measure what the length of that assembly is. Mine is approximately three inches. My reasoning for this is that if the two sections are the same, I can replace mine with one from a full-size Glock and not wait for the sub-compact parts to come back in-stock.

Thanks in advance for the help.

*Edit: On the real steel, in is the firing chamber, so I guess that's what it would be called here too.

I can't do it right now, but I know what you are talking about. I should be able to later today, I don't keep my gats in my dorm room. I's a smart college stuedent, derp.

Anyways, as far as I know, all of the back ends of the Glocks are the same, so you should be able to use any of them. IIRC, the only difference between each Glock model (aside from caliber in the treal world) is barrel length, and magwell/grip height.
