Our organization is more based on African mercenaries than anything. The Enemy page was kind of an afterthought, a general summation of my outlook on the average airsofter. :P

We're not the ones operating "teams" based upon mocking/patronizing other players strictly based on their gear. Perhaps you need to relax. Joke or not, the whole "multicam-uber-leet-tacticool-high-speed/low-drag-operators-are-the-enemy-derp-derp" thing is old and tired around here.

Erm, our team is based around the old school African mercs (ala 5 Commando and the Wild Geese). Again, the Enemy section was really just an afterthought... more a joke between some of us at the local field than anything else.

But no, you're the ones forcing people who join your teams to dump $500 on gear alone... so I don't really know who the one being "unrelaxed" here really is. You can buy the 7CDO kit for a grand total of $20 and be good to go. And just so you don't think it's just the two of us, we've already had several people express interest in joining.

But whatever, it's really not worth playing the game here...

At any rate, the idea of this post was to see if anyone had any interest in historical airsoft regarding the Belgian Congo mercenaries (hence why this thread was originally posted in the Reenactment forum).

No one forces people to buy certain kits. If you want to join a team, then you know what gear is needed to be on that team, be it $20 or $500. Some people WANT to spend that much on gear.


Really, airsoft is all about what makes you happy. Be it spending $20 or $500 on kit, as long as you are happy. To make fun of those who do decide to spend the money makes you yourself look foolish and ass-like.

A lot of the people here on AP are just these nerd kids with Call Of Duty on there minds, and they want to play videogamesim.

I think your team idea is cool as hot shit, its original, and is cheap and simple. I looking forward to seeing the progress of your team.
