I almost bought MW2 just for the goggles.

I did!

You might want to get a PVS replica and stuff the guts inside of it, or just get something to attach it.

FWIW, the chinky Wilcox mount on IBHs won't take a normal rhino arm without an adapter. Your better off buying a normal style mount/ arm combo. Dig around ebay, should find both for no more than 50 darus or so...

JN, I already picked up a VAS mount to replace the Wilcox mount, so the challenge is figuring how to get the goggles to attach to the Rhino mount (it seems those goggles aren't Mil-Spec ;) ).

STU, is your modified PEQ-2 box about the same size as a PEQ-15?

Yeah it is, I think I am going to buy a replica peq 15 and fit the guts into it. Dont know if the existing battery setup will fit though.

Managed to get both the laser and light to run on separate 9v batterys and fit securely inside the shortened PEQ box. Gotta hit up radioshack tomorrow and pick up a switch for the laser and finish wiring it up.

If you had the dedication to host a night game you could purchase some of these, or even make your own and set them up as objectives or field boundries! Night Op respawn points anyone?

One thing I need to find out for night games is if the tracer rounds will glow if I replace the led inside the tracer unit with an infrared led, essential making the tracer rounds only viewable with nightvision.

Anyone got a tracer unit I can take apart? :)[/list]

Jn- yeah sort of, it about size of a Lego brick and clear. It isn't a quick strobe ( about 1 flash every second).

Will throw pics up when I have a chance.

Stu- I have the guts of a tracer you cam tinker with.

All wired now, fully functional, runs on 2 9v batteries, one for the laser and one for the light.

On/Off push button switch for the laser, and a pressure switch for the light. everything fits inside the cut down PEQ and mounts like normal. I'll post some pics of it on my rifle later.

Guess I just gotta get the tracer unit and wait for a night game now :D

I may still pick up one of the PEQ 15 battery boxes and try and pack everything inside that considering they are only like $16 shipped on ebay.

Finished product, for now :D

Big red button turns the laser On//Off, the pressure switch is hooked up to the IR light.
