To follow up on Chairmanlao's original post, any suggestions for more concealable holsters? How about IWB holsters?

Galco makes some of the best IWB holsters out there. However if you take an CCW class your instructor will suggest that you get yours custom made for your body and your gun. I know there is a place in Salem, I just can't remember what they are called. The rule of wrist is that you should spend at least $100 or more on a holster. However that is for real CC not airsoft.

Simply put, look at Galco.

What exactly do you want to do. A Concealed airsoft gun is a pretty poor idea. I'm good with high quality holsters, but a concealed airsoft gun is likely to get you shot for real. IWB holsters are not super comfortable. What is the job you want to do with the gun. Blade tech, Michaels, or Fobus should do the job at a reasonable cost for airsofting purposes. I would really not recommend going concealed.

There are some scenario events that call for UC's or concealed weapons. Like the BSP challenge or CQC6.

Why is it that a concealed weapon is going to get you shot? Don't we live in a state that with the proper permit you can carry a concealed weapon. So, unless he's brandishing it, he should(edit, shouldN'T) be worrying about getting shot.

having the holster is no big deal. using it at a game to carry your airsoft pistol is no big deal. carrying it around in the world outside of airsoft is a big deal. so long as you aren't doing that, get whatever the hell holster you want.

ive got a galco for my conceal carry gun, but its a 1911. pretty sure they make glock versions as well, but the glocks are somewhat wider because of the double stack magazine. for combat holsters i like SERPAs and safarilands. yes, the retention is mostly unnecessary because most people in airsoft wont try to take your sidearm, but it does keep you from losing that expensive handgun in the field. anything that will hold a glock 17 or 19 (the most common models ive seen) should fit your 18C.

Thank you, yeah i'm just using this for games and what not. Kind of wanted one ever since I was a little kid (3rd grade). So why not eh?

Sounds like i'll be going with one.
Thanks for all your help.

Seemed like the unanimous AP answer was: Kydex.

Ever considered a shoulder holster? They're a reasonable concealed carry option, especially if you drive often, and they don't look out of place on most open loadouts. Might be a bit easier to handle than a full-size pistol than in an IWB, too. You don't want that Glock frame sticking into your kidneys all day.

Anybody here been to an IDPA match? They specify "concealed" holsters, but the typical loadout is a Kydex holster w/passive retention, outside the belt with four open magazine pouches. Hidden by a utility vest. Not really concealed carry by most standards, but it is a cheap option if you wanted to do similar in airsoft...
