You know why do people have to whine about a ideas to honor there favorite game or tv or movies just leave it be what if someone wanted to do a team based on Stargate (tv) used same patches and all.

The last stargate 'team' went 100% with their kits, and they didn't do SG1.

Thanks guys for the opportunity. This is my first team that I will have experience with in airsoft as I am fairly new to it, but I am really looking forward to it. So far the group that has been assembled seems to be a good group of guys to run with. I also like the fact that most are local to me, and the overall concept of the team ideals fits me well. Heck, I even like the name, although some have frowned upon it.....but I play MW2, so it works for me!

I like the idea. We are all copying something, and most of us are just posers anyhow, so why the hell not copy your team theme from a video game.

Some of us try to replicate an authentic load-out from current military groups, so I say run with it and replicate the load-outs from the MW2. It is all about having fun with it.

If anyone gives you crap, remind them they might just want to take a long hard look at themselves and reflect on the point that we are all just larpers with cooler lightning bolts.

So, TF-141, Stay Frosty ! Can't wait to see you on the field and in competitions.

If you find any LBV or harness like the ones in MW2, let me know, the closest I've found (from hours of studying the charecter models in Museum) is a Tac Tailor MAV.

What vest is it? I've never played the game.

And yeah, we're all LARPing with guns. Rock on, but I will make fun of you if your Soapy feller isn't speaking the whole time in a British accent and staying in character.

Thats just it, since they were made by a creative designer and not really effected by their military advisor (so far as I know) they aren't really based on any real rig...so...far...as...I...know.

the rangers have IOTVs in RG with tan webbing. (never seen it before!)

the chest rigs the woodland guys roll with are weird. not quite MAV, not quite RRV, but definitely in multicam.

urban dudes have what looks like come make-believe molle plate carrier in RG or Smoke.

What it comes down to is if you want to replicate the specific characters or the randomly generated riflemen that follow you around.

If you're going to do an impression, it should be done accurately. I'm about 60% done with my Ozone kit. :D

The Multicam one that Ghost wears? I've heard all over the place that it's an RRV.

I have to dis-agree with you there; the way the shoulder straps cross in the back is different, and it has a seperate panel covering the lower back. There is also no bib.

See, that's just it, there appears to be no way of getting into the Load-bearing rigs they have in the game, except to be born into them, no buckles, zippers, or straps to speak of.

Airsofter at birth. The true way to play. Also, im sure that the vest does have zippers but it just wasnt shown.
