Guys, it's my fault that the TOC went down for the second half of the battle. I left the TOC in the hands of another staff member and went out to hand out mission briefs. I got caught up in the epic struggle between the mud and the automobiles and I ended up staying in the field for the second half.

With that said, this was the first time we've had a dedicated command post vectoring artillery and air strikes while communicating with both commanders. It had its ups and downs. We had trouble at times communicating with both teams.

NATO, you guys were usually very easy to reach on comms. The only downside was that we had to listen to a lot of your commo chatter. It's one thing to hear TOP, but a whole other to hear some guy yelling "BEN WHERE ARE YOU!?!?" or another guy humming the tune to a TV show. Good times.

WARSAW, you were more difficult to reach, but I guess you fixed it by sending your RTO up to our TOC. Problem solved lol.

With that said, most of my maps melted from the rain, so next time I will have better coms, better maps, and hopefully a better tent to keep everything from melting. Overall I was pleased with the TOC and will do it again next go round.

We've never had great commo in a CE game, but it was improved this time around. Next time will be ever better.

Further, at risk of appearing exculpatory I should like to make it clear that the offer is made despite the fact that neither myself nor any of my subordinates camped the previous night or were involved in this incident at all. Had I been aware that a goats head needed disposing of I certainly would have made sure it happened.
That said, I believe that the direct line of responsibility is irrelevant. The offer is made and shall remain open indefinitely.

Want to thank BSP and S4 for a fun day. To all the people crying about some of us leaving early, understand that some people may have prior commitments that we may have to take care. I am very thankfull to my family for putting up with how much I play. So when they ask for for to be at a family event, I follow threw. Another player on our team tweeked his knee. 99% of the time when our team comes on the field, we leave the field togather. With any event there is always going to be good and bad. I hope someday I can plane a event such as this. So on behalf of The Ghosts, Thank you to everyone who made this happen.

Bill, would you mind giving the site owner a heads up? The embassy (or the castle, I heard it both ways) is starting to fall apart. I nearly fell through the top level when a board dropped out from under me, and managed to only just avoid an almost biblical nut-shot in the process. As luck would have it, I was fine. However, the guy who hopped up to help me out also fell through the floor on the middle level. He ended up hurting his leg, and I don't want that to happen to anybody else.

1. The goat was my deal entirely. There is nobody else responsible for that.

2. I thought Ollie was going to keep the goat head, as he and a few others had asked to take it. That being said, there were also the legs, which I forgot. It was a long day and a short night. I apologize, and the entire situation is my fault.

3. PLA as a group will not attend events at this site, as per request. This is not a ban on PLA members, but PLA as a group, so if you want to attend, it's solo, or groups not from the source.

As far as the quality of the game goes I wasn't paying attention to the big picture. Dan told me to take a position I did, or died trying. I had a great time though.

Best part killing three people after I twisted my ankle, hobbling from cover to cover.

Ivan, It was great playing with you out on the field. Threw out the day you were always upbeat and willing to help anyone. You showed true sportmanship, even when I almost slipped up when I was coming down the hill. Thank you for not takin my head as it should have been. As for me im on a 2 week aorsoft vacation. Somewhere warm with little tropical drinks with umbrella's. In my nice comfy chair at home. If I dont the wife will dis own me.

For those who don't know me I was one of your admins and rifle packers more than happy to expend a few blanks in the name of fun. I want to thank everyone who came out and braved the weather with us and gave it their all. As an event admin, this is what makes the event almost as fun to work as it would have to played. FYI, despite the weather, we had almost 200 players for today's event! I It was good to see some old faces and a lot more new ones.

Over all fair play from my end and fellow admins was seen almost across the board with both teams and we tried our best to be in the fight monitoring everyone as much as we possibly could and still deal with all of the administrative things going on. If my numbers are correct there were about 8 admins on the field at any given time trying our best to keep an eye out for everyone. Hopefully the next event there will be even more of us on the field.

As with comms, even us admins were not immune to problems. We tried to work around them as best we could with what we had. I did swing by the Admin TOC and see the Axis runners relaying info in person and that was good to go in my book. Good job adapting and trying your best to overcome a problem.

Axis, I feel your pain on that slippery slide hill of doom. I my self had to hump it up that thing a few times too. I'm sure if the weather would have worked with us it wouldn't have been much of an issue. Thanks for still hoofing it up that hill though and doing it with little to no complaining. That speaks volumes in my book.

I also want to thank everyone who handled the props for taking care of them. We did put some time into them and all ready have been war gaming on how we can make them better and more interactive and in turn making future events more fun for the community.

I also want to thank everyone who has given their AARs on the event. Knowing what worked, what didn't and ideas on how to make the event more fun the next time are always welcomed. We all really do read them and look over every idea. Who knows, your idea may be the used in the next event!

The last thing I want to talk about is clean up. As an event worker, we expect a level of clean up after everyone leaves and we don't mind doing so. BUT...it does make life a lot easier for us when you take the time and clean up your personal area on the field and off the field. In the future we will try to do better about having garbage bags layed out and more available for everyone. Our goal is to leave the field in a better condition then we found it in. Doing so helps ensure our future on site and mabe even help lower cost for hosting events which saves money for you the airsofter. Top and Dan I want to thank you for the police call on the field it's self today. It made life for us a lot easier and that did get noticed not only by the event staff but the owner of the property. Please remember, if it doesn't grow, it goes.


NOTE: LOST AND FOUND! If you have lost something on the field, please call S4 Tactical and tell us what you lost and what it looks like. If we have found it we will let you know and you may come and pick it up or make other arrangements with the shop. Event staff will also be out at the field next weekend doing another sweep of the field to clean up. If we do not have it this week we may have it next week. If you would like to help with the clean up this next weekend, contact Seagreen and I'm sure he would not turn down an extra set of hands.

Yeah that hurt... I got the "major nut shot" that you said you were so lucky to avoid. So much for karma, try to help someone and I end up hurting myself. But it's all good, the twins are okay.

Great a$$ event though, worth the 13 hours of driving.

Definitely a fun game. I ditched my rain gear about 10 minutes into the game, and just resigned myself to getting completely soaked and muddy. Fell on my a$$ (and all over the rest of me) quite a few times, but in the end, I had a blast.

I feel like CE:IV was everything that End Of Lies wasn't, and those being the only two events that I've attended at this particular field, I'm very pleased. Perhaps the single most disappointing thing about EoL was the fact that I wasn't able to enjoy an extremely kickass field.

As far as gameplay mechanics went, everything seemed to go smoothly. Having an admin in sight as frequently as I did was definitely a nice thing. Most events I've been to have been depressingly understaffed (especially the two events that I've helped Riddick out with, at one of which he and I were the only admins roving around all of Titan 1). When most players aren't able to get on a radio and call an admin, having one walk by every 5 or 10 minutes is fantastic. In my experience, having an awesome game staff makes everything a lot easier and more fun. For that, I'd like to thank all of BSP that came out to run this thing.

I obviously can't complain about not knowing quite what was going on, because I showed up late, but the scenerio was relatively easy to drop into. Even the fighting at the choke points was fairly reasonable. None of that "let's fight across a single bridge" bullshit that goes down at ABT.

As far as this goat head fiasco goes, it doesn't seem to me that the public lambasting does anybody any good. Having showed up late on sunday morning, I didn't even get to see this fabled goat meat, but people do make mistakes, and the AP community being as generally honorable as it is, I'm sure that folks are willing and happy to make amends to the site owner. I know that I would be willing to go out and donate my time to make amends with the owner simply because I'm a PLA member. This shit happened in my house, if you take my meaning.
