Bill, PSC was using Icom F-21 UHF(?) radios today. We had absolutely no issue with comms. Jewish Ninja knows the exacts on the radios. They can be had for relatively cheap.

This was my first large scale event, first at that field, and first with BSP. My team and I had a great time. We'll be back. All the constructive criticism needed has been said. Live and Learn.

My team had the same problem on the Axis CP. We were the last team to hit them from the rear right at the end of the game. We must have been about 40 feet out before they noticed us. We laid waste and they respawned right there. No matter to us. We had a blast and were just proud to have gotten that close undetected.

Too all those who left early because of the weather.... grow a pair! Like Karma and his team we waded that river 3 times as well (once with them) and kept on trucking. We never crossed the red out of bounds line, but we definitely walked right off the map for a long while.

TOP - Great Job!

John Boy - Ditto!

It was a pleasure to meet many of you in person whom I have seen on the forums.

BSP - Don't wait too long! We're ready for more!

Thanks for driving down guys. It was a pleasure to watch you assault the Axis base near the end of the day!

I will be at the field promptly tomorrow morning to clean that up.
Frankly I am infuriated.
I do not personally care about PLA being banned and I am not doing this to attempt to undo the damage done. This is disgusting.

Thanks for the great first event Seagreen! It's unfortunate that that goat didn't get put away before she overstayed her welcome.

Do you think there would be any chance of reconciliation with the land owner?

No idea. That is rather irrelevant at this point.

Endorus, I understand your perspective. We've already handled all the sanitary aspects of the area. Thank you though for your intent and good attitude today on the field.

The ship has sailed on that participation deal as a PLA member....as individuals you could attend, or attached to other teams, but I don't see a fancy-blue shirt hitting that field again....ever.

Then perhaps that should have been considered before your team decided to leave rotting animal parts in your campsite. If you really like something you treat it with respect. I'm not calling you out, personally, but it is the responsibility of all team members to police each other.

Karma,

I believe that the this is the actions of a few ending up affective the whole team. Everyone makes mistakes, this one though, just cost a single team their privilege to participate there.

All I can do is apologise.

And yes, reconciliation is irrelevant when the purpose is to avoid rightly deserved consequences.

-sighs- FML. Dammit. Not happy about that at all... Guess I assumed too much when I thought they would pick that stuff up...

So, he requested that anyone involved in that group not participate at his location in the future as a member of that organization. So in short, the actions of a few spoiled it for the good attitudes and actions of the majority for PLA.

Yes, that's what I was saying a few pages ago Solid. It's a bummer for you guys. That field is bad a$$.

I had a great time. First I wanna say thanks to my teammates for making it possible to attend.

BSP... You guys have put on another kick a$$ event. Everytime they get better. Thanks again for the loaner when my gun went down.

Ash - thanks for squaring away accomodations and gear.

It was great to see everyone again. I'm at PDX right waiting for my flight to finish up this turn and burn trip back to South Carolina.

5500 mile trip, 9 hours sleep over three days, 37 hours in the great state of Oregon...... All to take the field with my brothers in plastic death.... Priceless.
