My m16br i just got has a problem. When i try to "break" the reciever by keeping the front pin in and the back out, it will move up only a small amount and get stuck. Why is this? Can I fix it? Thanks...

Did you fire in semi several times to get the piston to a resting state? If not, you're trying to pull the tabs past the piston and it is scraping.

I have never had KWA but i have worked on a few, and if im not mistaken thats not how they come apart. the upper receiver is getting stuck on the gearbox. you are supposed to take the front pin out and slide the upper receiver forward.

KWA's break open like a real AR15. They use a 2 piece hop up unit that allows for it to open like I said.

I knew about the two piece hop-up, so I guess that makes sense.
