What are the widths of Airsoft MP5 mags?

I plan on converting them into real steel AK mags for use on my AK.

I found a guide on it, i just need to know the width of the MP5 mags.

Plastic mags would be nice.

Actually, i can get REAL AK mags for cheaper. and a ten pack of star mp5 mags are like 60$ or somthing like that..

I would get metal AK mags. but all the finish on them ive come across are ugly.. and real mags are just plain badass.

yes, i found a guide on how to do so. It should be intresting, i will start with one, and if successfull, than it works, if not, i can say i tried.

AK midcaps can hold ~150 rounds. Unless you use expensive S arms MP5 mags, you wont get as many rounds.... I wouldn't do it.

im pretty sure he's taking the real steel ak taking the internals out and shaping it around an airsoft mp5 mid cap, god knows why he thinks this is good idea

Installing airsoft magazine internals into a real steel magazine shell is nothing new.

OP, best do a search on Red Alliance, as they might have a guide.

Victory is right. He wants to put MP5 airsoft magazines into real AK mag shells to use in his AEG.

Somehow I imagine this is going to be more expensive than buying a pack of CA Midcap magazines for the AK.

FWIW, the SRC AK magazines have a gorgeous blued steel finish to them.
