How many AKs will you have available for rent?

I have spent countless hours trying to find evidence of even a single MP5 in use in vietnam. I have not found even a single picture.

Go over to www.incountry.ca/icforums and take a look. There is a thread over there called "Suppressed and Non-Standard Weapons" in general discussion (you might have to look back a page or two). it has a wealth of photographic evidence, and anecdotal evidence (with citations), for non-standard weapons.

Infact, just to make things easy on everyone - here is a direct link to the thread that I recomend reading.
http://www.incountry.ca/icforums/viewtopic.php?t=1086

Should be plenty of photographic evidence for those of you who are even questioning if a weapon is "correct" or incorrect. The rest of Incountry is bleeding great for vietnam research. Out-freaking-standing. I would definately sugest that you cheesedicks head on over there and read. But before you put on the stupid hat and start asking questions, read the sticky threads, and locate the search button. There is so much good information there.

I'll come and bring a friend can he use his UTG m324 sniper rifle? If not we will just rent. Can I wear a Woodland BDU?

No woodlands. We have several NVA and US uniforms for rent. There no scheduled sniper roles for this operation.

I'll be there. I know that the Kar98 was still in use by the VC so I'm going to use that. Should I paint my skin brown and wear a straw hat too if we're going for ultimate realism?

I'm always surprised at the amount of detail and work you put into your Ops, Helmutt. Battlesim is a bunch of hardcore motivated mofuggas. :)

Bishop - can you source this? I've been actively looking for documented evidence of MP5's in use by US Forces in Vietnam for quite a while.

I know what you mean Alex, I spent hours trying to search that one out. Yet I couldn't find ANY discussion or documentation of MP5's in Vietnam.

You all missed a great game! The uniforms were very cool. Here are a couple of shots I took:
