PDX CAGE Build Day, Wed. Nov. 18th

This coming Wednesday we're going to have another build day! Last build day we got a lot done, and this build day we hope to finish out the warehouse room (at least the basics of the structures with layout and then worry about stocking them and painting them later), and then work our way into the middle room!

As before, every 2 hours of work gets you a week of free play at CAGE! If you have two of your team members come in to work, your team gets a free training session for the whole team!

We'll start at 0700 and go until regular players start kicking us out around 3-4pm.

Anyways, will you be having one during Thanksgiving break?

We're needing people to basically build panels, drive to and from Lowes nearby to pick up wood, and then a pair to erect the buildings.

You did a fantastic job. If we had 10 of you, the CAGE would be built in a week.

Same drill as before. We need those panels up lickety split so we can push into the main room.

Would love to come and help again, but school is in session until beginning of december. Hope to come more often during december, since the term will be ending.

I should be there for real this time unless work seriously screws up again, we should be good to go... Possibly even stick around for some play after.

I was thinking we could set up the jigs in the new range and leave them there, which would have access for lumber to quickly offload a truck, and also could keep the jigs up and have people make panels in off days or during open play without getting in the way and having to clean up every time.

I like the way you use your head muscle. that very well could work. well anyways I can try to be out there durning the week next week but it all depends on how stuff this weekend plays out. So I'll inform you if I can or cannot once I know

Remember, folks, that the weekend is when the CAGE takes most of their business, and need to make business in order to have the money to build buildings. This week is fall break for some schools, while for others it's next week.

Any way about prescheduling a work day on the 27th? It's a holiday for most schools, and it's the day after Thanksgiving. Who wants to stay home and help clean up after the holiday? Besides, most of us are gonna be done with shopping by 5am that morning [go Black Friday!!]; we can do an extra early work day!
