1. Make sure you know what your chain of command is. Know who your squad leader and company commanders are. This is MILSIM - follow the orders of your leaders as if they were your own ideas. They're making a call, and it's usually because they have their own orders, or because they've been doing this for a while.
2. Bring $15. IN CASH. Try to not bring $20's, I doubt we'll have the change. If you do not bring your field fee, you will not be allowed to play. Go buy something at a super market and get $15 in cash back.
3. Ensure that you have the required uniform for your side of the Operation! We have a very detailed thread about what you can and can't wear in the Delta team forums, but that said:
Alpha = Woodland and DPM. IF YOU ARE WEARING ANYTHING OTHER THEN WOODLAND OR DPM, YOU ARE ON DELTA. Originally there was a rule that you could wear woodland bottoms and still be on Delta, but that was when we thought that there were only going to be around 60 people at the operation, so this rule no longer applies. We have 200+ right now, and we're trying to eliminate confusion.
Delta = Anything not woodland or DPM. That means MARPAT, Alpenflauge, Black, whatever. Civvies are not allowed, however. I would also suggest that you not show up in a clown suit, however fun that might be.
4. You must have ANSI rated goggles or glasses for this event! They can pick up at GI Joe's, Fred Meyer, or WalMart for something akin to $5 - $20. I believe my eyes are worth far more then $20, so it's easy to justify the expense.
5. I will be helping at the chronograph. Make sure that your guns are not over the limit for the event, or your replica will be disqualified from this event.
6. SHUT THE FVCK UP during the briefing! A lot of rules and specific information is going to be gone over, and it's important that you listen. Don't be surprised if Zeus asks you to get off of the field if you won't listen. Guys, you have to understand this is the biggest operation EVER put on by AP, and in the Pacific Northwest. You need to help us alleviate confusion.
7. Of course, have fun because that's what this whole thing is about.
