Man, if WW2 reenactment wasnt so horrendously expensive, i'd go for it.

it's not

it's not. Most of the stuff can be had for about the same price as a high speed modern load out.

This is the truth.

I know many people who have spent the same amount on their airsoft gun that one could put together a good impression.

It depends on the impression you want to do.
Canadian/British infantry is pretty cheap as well as Russian.

The US and German stuff gets kind of expensive, but if you get the very basics, the unit you join will usually help kit you out with what you need until you pick it up yourself.

Hell, I was going on 2 years or so when I was doing it and I was still using some borrowed gear.
It's worth it, as it's a lot of fun. Though, 10x more serious than your typical airsoft game/op.

Because it is SO ridiculous, it goes beyond stupid and becomes awesome.

Get it in OD and get a Fancy Shirt, and you're good to go! Make sure you get a box mag for that M4 too.

I think he's been hanging around me too much. I speak it as sarcasm, then enact it as dogma.

Still working on that Beta C mag for the UZI...

That is one of the best lines I've ever seen.
