You can wear whatever eye/face protection you prefer.

Im trying to stay in costume one: for an extra raffle ticket. But mainly: to look the part of a hostage to make it real as possbile. How effective are the clear shooting glass when it comes to coverage? (do they protect the sides of your eyes?)

Go up to a mirror and look. And if you are afraid of one making it through the glasses. Take your gun that shoots 400 and shoot it from about a foot away...

Sorry dude - the raffle has been canceled. For lack of signups, I figured it would be better to have the sponsors get more value for their donation by saving items for a different event. So if you're going to do a costume, it's all gotta be for the fun of it :)

I pre-payed, Saturday, Counter-Terrorist. SOTA.

The reason you didn't get many people pre-paying was because you had that funny 'group of 5' thing, and it was hard to organize who to give the money to and then pay you.

Thank you sir!

The pre-pay wasn't the only concern. Just not as many folks in general, guess I'm aging myself by basing a game on Counter-Strike. But it's all good, we'll have a blast, there should be plenty of walk-ons too. And with the open format it's easier for folks to come and go.

Game was a good idea. It was probably the $45 for 4 hour block that scared people away.

Also I couldn't make it because of Drill that weekend. :( I put that on one of these pages, but I don't think you got it.

Airsoft is where it is due to people's willingness to invest in quality games.

I was talking to somebody today and he buys a new gun every month but won't spend $15 to go to the PLA CQB Training taught by someone who is in the top few thousand urban warfare specialists in the entire world... for $15 a day.

I can still flashbang the teams randomly, right?

I'm still looking forward to being an admin for this event, even if it's not going to be as "cool" as originally planned.

:D

Qucik questions: could the hostages join the fight at any point (with pistols), maybe at the very end. Just asking, it would liven up the game (for the hostages). If not, its all good, just asking.
