i thought the event was very well produced, the zombies were great, the atmosphere was great, and the action i experienced during game play was great.

now that my praises are done, i will say i wish it was a little less scripted(IE allowed for the teams to wander lost on their own more, perhaps more objectives(some that change depending on your course of action) or perhaps more than one scenario done in a similar vein to the one presented.

my only serious complaint was .. yes it was too short, and i think that complaint should be taken a little as a compliment, because if i thought the game time i did get was the suck, I certainly wouldn't want it to last longer.

all that being said its like 15-20$ to run through scream at the beach(local haunted house), and you don't get to shoot any zombies. The Event may not have been near perfect, but its a Promising start begging to evolve into something great. I will be back next year for night 3, hoping to get more play time and more freaked out.

Eudorus apparently won the raffle for an AEG and then the raffle was redrawn to note the sponsor before the raffle? I'm confused, and that's a little messed up if I heard correctly.

What happened was we were drawing for the grab bags and I was calling off numbers a bit fast since 9/10ths of the raffle ticket numbers called went to people that weren't there.I called out endorus's number, but I didn't hear him say anything so I went and called another ticket. Sorry for all the confusions.

We were expecting more people to stick around for the raffle, but since the even will be retooled for the next game hopefully more people will come back the second day.

I'm with Shogun for it being a little less scripted. You may want to stick away from "rail-roading" players so that they feel they have ample time to complete the side objectives, allocate weapons from fallen comrades, reload, barricade, etc. Having to return to the safe house every so often was crippling as, with DRAT's zombie strategy, splitting up is a no-no. (Splitting up/falling behind/rushing ahead was accountable for all personnel loss at Night 1) Letting it be a little more free-form will lengthen the event as well so... 2 birds.

Jester316, I was thinking it was part of the script.. But you were so in the way and flashing, I had to say something.. That was a perfect, as a distraction..

It's okay, because the zombies got him. And they never bothered to get his camera from the safe house, so the survivors can't turn his photos in...

Can we see how all the teams placed? Congrats to the top three of course, but I'm just curious to see how everyone else did.

Pictures are starting to come up. Rather than making you wait forever and a day for me to post all 9 blocks, two days worth of random photos, and the few photos that survived the awards ceremony (most of them are just the backs of people accepting prizes, not really valuable), I'll just go ahead and post a link now to where they're going to appear:

And update this whenever there's something really relevant.
