Update:

We're still on. I've got a couple more ideas (thanks to Variable) that should make life interesting for anyone who's interested. Need to find a loop of helicopter noises for the appropriate ambiance.

Need to know if anyone has access to a chrono. Preferably two.

Sweet. I plan on kicking this thing off on time, so I'm going to open up chrono for the night game ASAP, basically. I will need to get with Rick and see if he'll let that count as chrono for the actual event. I can't imagine why not, but hey, stranger things have happened.

Reminder: there will NOT be a zombie round. Not enough support, plenty of other ideas.

We also have to wait (patiently or otherwise) for the paintballers to finish. Considering how early the sun sets in October, I suspect there won't be a conflict. If there is, it's not like you don't know where to find me.

Hi All,

I've gotten a few PMs on this so I figured I'd provide some clarity and put an end to the jibberjabber. The night game is not a standalone event. It is a bonus for folks registered for Faction Wars 2.1.

Anyone whose registration status causes doubt in my mind will get to have a nice chat with me or Rick as appropriate.

Reminder: the night games will occur rain or shine. We'll start chrono'ing as soon as I can track down a chrono and the first event brief will be at 1830 barring any conflicts (and provided the paintballers are off the field).

I'll have an M-16 magazine on hand for compatible weapons. Anyone else: bring an empty magazine. I will dump the contents of your magazine if it loaded.
