I am tired, bruised, cut up (though one cut I admit was from a cat mauling my hand last night as I was teasing it with a piece of hay), and was incredibly dirty before I took a shower, however I had an absolutely awesome time out there.

JUICEMACHINE: Next time you see me, I owe you fifteen bones for that fantastic AK chest rig of awesomeness. You left before I could return it. Don't let me forget. And thank you for letting me borrow it to try it out. It works fantastically!

Mini-Marine: Your class was excellent. Even though I had been exposed to a bit of it before, it was great practice and you went into a lot more detail this time with tactical applications and such. It was neat. Even though your AK is ugly. Which I hope I don't get beat up for saying because you said that that was the whole point of that crazy M4 stock.

Eudorus: Your class was also excellent, and great to run through once more. You are a great expert on your topic, and by the end I had a very clear mental picture of exactly what needs to happen. It's too bad we didn't actually have enough time to execute it one last time.

Kendo and Snake Eyes: I loved your station. Even though my hips got bashed in from poor positioning of my canteen and other things, I had a blast. Navigating stealthily and through steep terrain immediately proved useful in the skirmish afterward, and it is definitely something that I will be using all the time!

Kelharis: You put forth an impressive effort today, especially for the first time being out here. Keep practicing, see if you can get in a bit better shape (Don't worry, I'm trying too), and pop all your mags in and out of your UMP until it loosens up a little bit so that you can actually workably reload it quickly and easily. :) I look forward to running with you in the future!

Jebuskitty: Despite saying balls per second and then making a laughable attempt to cover up the fact that you just spat paintballer all over our stuff, you are a great fellow and I look forward to running with you in the future as well!

PSC: I did not get a chance to drop by your radios section because something got kind of messed with in the schedule. But I'm sure that your class was also top notch awesomeness, and hopefully I'll learn what you taught from other people that got a chance to learn from you :)

Fragistan: You were a great force to work with, and I have never seen such attractive men running around with AK-47's.

DRAT: You were all a great and entertaining force to run with once more, and Junto we need to meet up sometime over at PCC and have a killer dance party.

PLA: Thank you so much for putting this on for us noobies! I definitely learned a lot, and the skirmish afterwards was top notch fun, and the potluck was a great idea to keep things cheap! Thank you so much for planning this out so well!

Thanks all who came out! I didn't count heads, but we had probably 40-50 people.

Thanks to Fragistananians, PSC, DRAT and others who came out.

I hope everyone enjoyed the training. This was my second event ever hosted. I learned a lot from doing our training last month, as well as this month.

We're looking at having one of these every month, whether we host it, or another team. Top notch good training.

I enjoy the potluck. I won't be eating hamburgers for a month. ;-)

I'll put up an AAR in the PLA forums to see what we need to work on for the next one, as well as input on what you guys want to learn. I'm going from the standpoint that airsoft (and PLA) are getting a lot of new players, and when I first started out I wish someone was doing this for me. Hopefully we'll get everyone up to speed and start moving on to more advanced stuff in future Training Days.

Good Times! I'm glad that me and the rest of PSC had a chance to lend a hand. And I cant wait for the CQB and have the fun continue. ;)

Despite the fact that you guys almost made me cough up a lung (numerous times) I had a great time! I got a much better workout than I have had in years. I need to get one of those old people scooters to get me around those rocks though :D.

I want to thank all of the instructors, I learned a lot in your classes. Also, everyone was very understanding when I couldn't keep up. Just a little FYI for everyone, about 8 years ago, I had a bout with sarcoid in my lungs (the same thing Reggie White died from), and there's a possibility it has flared back up. That is one of the reasons (plus being a fatass couch potato and smoker) that I get out of breath quickly.

In the end, I got what I wanted, I got a ton of exercise, got to shoot someone (thanks for not moving Kendo! :D) and got shot by someone...in the ear.

I will keep trying to get into better shape, and look forward to keeping up a little better at FW!

Camo on my gun seems to work there, despite the duct tape and black strap.

It took me a while to figure out what I was looking at. The duct tape and the sling seem to blend pretty well actually...

Just out of curiosity. What kind of camo scheme do you have going on your gun?

EDIT: The only reason I found it was because I remember watching you take the photo, haha...
