Sodak...
We will have more info coming soon. Currently we have two other events coming up that we are trying to set up. We wanted to get the message out early especially for you Southerners :D. Hopefully we can get a general count early so if there needs to be a mass camping area we can secure a AO that accommodates everyone.

Stayed tuned...

This will be amazing, but i agree with the Titan 1 Tactical park because it would probably be best to have a village/ towns to have for the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. event. I can't wait, is there a raffle/ do you plan on one?

This event is starting to pick up steam. Take a look at the Stalker thread for the general chit chat. One of our Stalker event organizer's is from Russia. He has some great ideas for this event.

Raffles...
We are still working with our sponsors for this event. Since it is so close to our Red Invasion event we might not have as big raffle as we usually do. But then most of our raffles take about an hour to complete :D [/url]

Sign me up.

With a little more info I'll be able to plan better.

Are there gonna be different teams?
Stalkers? Freedom? Duty? Monolith?

Also, would it work to come dressed in a longcoat, gas mask, and generic olive drab colors?

Is there gonna be a gun restriction as well?
From my recollection, there weren't any SAWs or heavy support weaponry in S.T.A.L.K.E.R., besides the rare RPG-7.

I guess what I'm asking is, how strictly true to the game are we staying with this? Or is it more of a back story concept we're going with?

Nikolai...
To sign up we need you to register on the 1st sword forum. If you have problems creating an account let me know.

As for your questions, i need you to ask them on the forum.
I'm not an expert on the STALKER game. I doubt we are going to hold strict guidelines for this game. This is our first attempt so we are on a learning curve.

Thanks.

I encourage everyone here to watch the movie (called "stalker"), based off the book (Roadside Picnic). But I think I may go to this event.

huh I just looked it up on Wikipedia. I had not realized that the game was based off of this.

That is really interesting.

The movie is fantastic, the book I haven't read enough of to give a good review on.

And note: This is a WA based group. It's NOT going to be at Keizer, nor anywhere in Oregon.
