Contact Variable for input :D

Did I just get roped into hosting an OP?

Nnnnnooooooooooo...
I just said to contact you with 'input' since you have played the field (yea, once but you will more - you know you will) and can give personal input about its usability.
I try not to rope people into things, it keeps them from kicking my a$$ lol.

Valentine SK wrote:Edit: Also, Junto, I did tell Helo we were kidding after i was told that we couldn't assume command and no one was using the radios properly. Standard stuff.

He did, and the coup made for some great footage. It also confused our orders and intelligence channels right before the ARNG assault on the village that almost dislodged us. Twice.
And Junto, please turn around next time you believe a takeover is 'necessary'. Everyone else in the village was wanting to waste your guys and I refused to let them.

Were the coup and the defections annoying? Yes. Would I do it all again? Absolutely. Grid 18 was a great game and I enjoyed meeting as many people as I could. Soon as we can we're coming to another.
Snake, Tombstone, I can't wait for the rematch. It's going to be amazing.

And Nox, YES. Let me know if you need help setting that up, I'd love to see a game down here.

Thanks to all those that got me off the field after my ankle injury.

Good news, no broken bones, just torn ligaments. Sucker was swollen up like a softball by the time I made it to the ER.

Asides from that, a pretty fun game...however...spent a huge amount of time running around the field trying to find someone to kill. Sorry that the team sizes were imbalanced, but appreciated the role that APST filled in keeping the game moving. This actually kept things from stagnating to a stand still. Thanks APST!

Minor complaint and reminder to Snipers:
I think minimum contact distance is 50ft, I got plowed at 10-15ft in the head. Closer than that you should either call out a safety kill or draw a handgun. No damage done though, I did say that I got shot in the head

Thanks to all for putting this on.
Life is Good!
Have a great day.

I had a pretty good time, even if this was the biggest cluster shazaam game I've been to in a while.

The command structure was total shit. I'm not even going to bother going into that subject.

Comms- N00bz screaming for help as normal, whatever.

Slight confusion. I forgot to put my death rag away when I spawned in the village and shot at APST. I still had it in my hand. Total tool move on my part, and I'm sorry about that. (even if you guys were stealing the Bio tube and no one did shit besides me.)

The only real issues I saw... Too many people in the vehicles shooting, when the rule was one shooter per car/ATV/Truck/etc. (At least that's what I heard Matt say.)

A ton of people taking their hits, but forgetting to say hit. Then whining when I send another 2-5 bb's at them, thinking they are alive still.

Another problem, if you get hit, and are in the middle of a firefight, have the common sense to LAY DOWN. Don't phony pony at me when your standing in the way and giving your friend cover when your dead. Seriously.

Other than that, great game Matt, I look forward to the next one.

Maybe I was away from the areas where dead rag hacking occured but I never saw it. I forgot my death rag and got shot extra for it. But I would much perfer being lit up a bunch than being associated with cheating. I also was with a lot of people who were already shot and that went out of our way to avoid enemy positions while walking back to spawn.
The one complaint I have (which I see at every airsoft game) is the hesitantcy of players to advance and get closer to the enemy. Again, I guess I was away from all the unfortunate instances during this game and therefore I had a wonderful time.

The young fellow with the M249 para with the fluted barrel extension and Noveske actually had a Shamwow for a red rag...

I had fun. I rarely have a bad time when I'm at splat action. To the national guard that were in the main village right after you guys took it over, I appoligize if what I did seemed a tad dickish, but I seriously just walked right in while still alive (no death rag accidentally left on) thinking it was still ours. Once I saw that I was surrounded by ACU and Multicam, I took a little stroll around and noticed that I was being ignored, this led to a safety kill and three pistol kills. Again, I'm sorry if this seemed dickish, but this and the coup were kind of the highlights for me :D

faking people out by pretending to be dead is one thing, but accidentally wandering into an enemy base while alive and having them not notice you isnt your fault. its theirs. think of it this way: next time they will pay better attention.

I had fun.
I like voicing/hearing constructive criticism to help make games in the future more enjoyable.
Also people should mention what they liked so we can keep those things around.
