reballs is a good idea...except no one is wearing full face masks and reballs are supposed to simulate paintballs....

If you lower the FPS enough on a reball it doesn't do any more damage than an airsoft BB. This is similar to my idea for an M2. Set up an auto-cocker in an M2 mock-up, lower the FPS to about 150-200, 7 rounds/second and thud away with reballs. As far as destroying vehicles the best way I can think of is either something that leaves a decent sized BRIGHT mark on the body of the vehicle, or building spring boards that set off a buzzer or alarm or bell of some kind on the outside of the vehicle that you must hit with a nerf rocket from an m203 or anti-tank rocket platform.

Oh my god. Not only was the original question already answered, it was answered on the first response, almost 3 years ago.

Reballs are still essentially rubber slugs, and if you turn down the velocity to the point where they don't "do any more damage then an airsoft BB" you'll get crap range. Hell, paintball guns in general have crap range.

Not to mention, they're a bit expensive.

Yes but now we are deciding on anti armor weapons :p
I haven't come up with anything past the standard paintball style weapons I had found before. Which still involve paint which turns a lot of people off.

while reading this i had an idea... what if you took a flat topped 40mm grenade, extended it with a wide but thin tube(attaching it is the part i have not thought of yet). then use a toilet paper roll(tube), put a piece of cardboard on the bottom, then put a water balloon full of a powder and a little air, and launch the cardboard and balloon... input?

Lack of weight and bizarre shape would likely make them aerodynamically unstable.

I'm curious about the possibility of a foam rocket that expands in width when it strikes a target.

while looking for new gear i thought of a madbull foam cap 40mm shell. bake a baking soda and vegi oil mix and dip it in that. do you think it would work?

leave a visible but washable marking on vehicles. or use a madbull foam rocket(also 40mm).

Okay, stop, all of you. Have you stopped to think about the fact that we don't have any vehicles on the field? Not one. The only vehicles we use are the ones that get us to games. Yes, Echo and I are thinking Tactical Rape Van, but thats only for getting to games.

You're planning to eliminate a target that doesn't exist. You're buying a Light .50 to take out baby seals while you're in AFRICA!

And, as I said before, the initial question for this thread was answered several years ago. Yes, I asked the question, got it answered. But the more time drags on, the more I see that the only people who want vehicles on the field are underage, and most of the time, don't even own the vehicles they want to use. The bicycle-tired APC will be a death trap, and will promptly get stuck the second it hits the mud at SA.

Now you have a big hunk of plywood and rust on SA, and the field owners are going to throw a fit when they find out. Nicely done.

I can only speak for myself but the reason I care about this is because I feel that with an anti vehicle weapon we may see more vehicles show up and become used at games. As of now we don't have a good system for vehicle kills. Which make them invincible and thus cheap. If we had anti vehicle weapons then maybe fields can start allowing vehicles at games and such. It's one side of Milsim that we don't have any replication over and the point of us talking about the weapons is to add this to the world of airsoft. I hope I (or anyone else) hasn't offended you but this thread is a pretty established place for anti vehicle weapons talking.

Area effect weapons also seemed to come up quite a bit in this thread, the need for something better in an M203 than a "giant shotgun" or nerf rocket for example.
